I love both evenly. Looove dmc for its great characters and stylish combat. Love killing countless enemies with style and looking cool doing it. Looove ninja gaiden for the sheer technicality of it and how every kill is oh so satisfying and the feeling of accomplishment when you master how to decimate your enemies using everything in Ryu's arsenal. So yeah bring on more games from both series and im a happy camper
Devil May Cry in most cases. I prefer Ninja Gaiden 1 (Black) over the most of the DMC titles gameplay wisebut I did enjoy DMC 1,3 over NG2. (Note I was talking about the Ninja Gaiden reboot)
I personally prefer the DMC series over most hack/slash games even over the GoW series. Just due to the fact I prefer the over-the-top action the series provides, the game knows what it's going for and realizes it very well. Smooth combat that rewards mixing it up, and the characters while not the best in the world are actually characters and not a stiff board your pilot around for no apparent reason other than your village done got messed up.
I love Ninja Gaiden, and I find the newer games much better than the old NES versions.
Combat in Ninja Gaiden is also better than in Devil May Cry.
Only DMC game I liked was the first one. It is really good, but I only played it because I didn't have the XBOX to play NG and NGB even though I really wanted to, so I settled for DMC1 because the games are so similar.
Now I have a PS3 and both Sigma games and play them both. :D
I like Ninja Gaidens combat more, and I find Ninja Gaiden Black to be my favorite action game of all time. Devil May Cry 3 in a close 2nd. Bayonetta will probably be my #1 after a few more playthroughs though, I love that game.
