Well this game might have been dead otherwise. Remember that THQ was the publisher, and I'm not sure this game was bid at their bankruptcy auction. So this game might have been in limbo until Nintendo stepped in. Seems like a win-win. Nintendo gets an exclusive. And this game still comes out, hopefully it should be better for just being on one platform and not having to deal with PS3/360 versions.

I'm glad that Wii U is getting a few Japanese games. Xenoblade Chronicles X, Bayonetta 2, and this. This is not something we see on the other consoles. I miss the PS2 era when Japanese games dominated the market. You also got a lot of weird and innovative games like Gitaroo Man and God Hand.

to be fair alot of japanese games do appear on the 3ds and vita.

That's true. Every game I own on the 3DS is from Japan. Handheld's are what's keeping the Japanese game industry alive, and even that's diminishing according to media create.

Not as cool as it was when it was showed earlier but it still looks like it will be fun. Considering the development hell the game has been through it looks like a 7/10 game which isn't a bad thing.

Itagaki left right after NG2, though. I have faith in him. We will see what the game looks like when it gets closer to release.

Nintendo's money should buy him some bitches and blow. In between that they'll tighten up the look of his games(so yes I fully expect this to be at E3 next year). Also Ninja Gaiden 3 never happened. Said game does not exist.
