Devil's Third vs MGS: Rising, which one are you most looking forward to?

Devil's Third is an upcomingaction video game developed by Valhalla Game Studios and published by THQ for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This is the first game developed by Tomonobu Itagaki, known for creating the Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive franchises.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising​is an upcoming action/steath video game in the Metal Gear series by Kojima Productions for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. So far not much have been shown of this Lightning Bolt Action game, but with Kojima overseeing the project, what could possibly go wrong?

Both are coming out for360 and ps3 consoles respectfully and will feature a single player and a multiplayer mode (if wikipedia is anything to go by), dismemberment and a 3rd camera perspective.

Which one are you looking forward to most?

If you had to predict the outcome of the two, which one will most likely succeed in terms of sale? and which one will most likely garner the better review scores?

No offense to MGS fanboys but MGS: Rising's sword play looks extremely boooorring so imma go with DT.The best part is the man who created Ninja Gaiden will be behind it so all is good.

metal gear solid 4 looks like crap. it won graphics king in gamespot because either gamespot are ps3 fanboys or sony paid them off. lamost every pc game that year when maxed looks better than metal gear solid 4. so many jaggies so many and the game is low resolution it is note ven hd.

Not looking forward to dumbed down mgs... A 6.8gb game will not live up to the awesomeness that was MGS4 ands its 50gb glory!!!... I don't want to play as Raiden, i can play my 2 NG sigma games for that type of gameplay. The itagaki game...I may give it a try..seems Itagaki has wised up and stopped being the shill he once was....Getting canned from Tecmo probably did that. what used to get me is he used to say that he put NG and Dead or alive on the Xbox1 instead of the PS2 because it had more power, yet when the Ps3 360 came out, if he was basing it off what he said last gen , then he should of went with the ps3.. That made him look like a fanboy..Then he goes and insults his staff for making sigma.. (which turned out better then black and NG2)....The last interview with him, he didn't seem arrogant like he used to...so who knows? If the game is good I will give it a try!!Midnightshade29

I have to go with Rising, DT looks like Wet and i have to say it i didnt enjoy wet at all.

I really reeaally dislike Raiden as a character. With that said, Rising looks like a lot of fun.

Voted neither, but after watching the video for Devil's third I'm fairly interested. Still going neither because there are a ton of other games coming out I care about more.

A new full on Itagaki game? Hell yeah. Devil's Third looks insane.

i like mgs but it is too slow paced for me. i playe all of mgs 1 2 and 3, metal gsolid 4 on the other hand i hated it is it to slow paced and too much story. i love hack and slash and i truely cant wait for mgs rising its gonna be the best mgs game for me

Itagaki is the man. And this game is actually filling up the few missing pieces Ninja Gaiden needed to be great.

And this is the first glimpse and I'm already sold. Devil's Third might just be Itagaki's masterpiece...if he takes everything that made NG the monster it is and build on that formula, which is what I hope Devil's Third brings...we may have the best hack n slash game yet.

But oh man....my Metal Gear Solid....sorry I can't give that up :P

I'm sorry herebut Devil's Third looks just like ANY OTHER shooter out there... like someone said, it reminds me sooooo mucho of Wet, and Wet was pretty awful IMO. Itagaki = overrated.

love itagi but god dammit i dont want gun in the freakin games and i dnot wank online multiplayer. i want an amazing single player experience. like ninj gaiden god of war bayonetta. usually multiplayer games hav an avarage single playercampaign

Im one of its biggest fans on sw, but it looks pretty dull >.>

I do want to see what the stealth is like. See if it feels like a previous mgs game stealth wise or your typical kind of stealth.

Never even heard of DT though. Not really digging that either, but then again, Im not a huge fan of any of his games but doa sorta. I guess I' know when I see more of both.
