gears and lost planet are shooters.....

All the shooters that "flood" the 360 (in no particular order)...

1.) GeOW (exclusive)

2.) R6V (multiplatform)

3.) Halo 3 (exclusive)

4.) PDZ (exclusive)

5.) All CODs (multiplat)

These are all the main shooters I can think of. Because the 360 has 3 exclusives (where only two of which are/are going to be good) and a bunch of multiplat shooters all it has is shooters? Are you aware that the PS3 gets alot of shooters as well due to multiplatform? And for all you fanboys who try to pass Mass Effect off as a shooter, I call that desperation for ownage.

This arguement died long ago.  There are more than shooters on the 360 now.  It's not like the old Xbox was.

And why are you singling out the 360?  The PS3's only good exclusive is a shooter.

I don't really think that X360 is aiming for the #1 worldwide due to the genre of games they are providing. They're real aim really is to get the the majority of the US market (not Canada as it is so far WiiLand). That is their short-term objective of a year or two. Of course their long term is to get the #1 worldwide but I don't see it happening yet. Sure X360 has some JRPGs and other Japanese games but few are not enough to push the hordes of Japanese games that are Japan only being introduced in Japan for PS3 and Wii and some in Europe. The 3 regions as much fanboys you and I are are way different market. One kind of game is good but not good on the other regions.Zaistev_basic

Just because there are guns in some games doesn't necessarily make them a shooter. That's just like saying MGS4 is a shooter.

Name the shooters then. I read that list 3 different times and every time I read it I could only label one as a shooter and that would be RE5.
