DF: Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered: PS5 vs Xbox Series X Head-To-Head!

• PS5/Series X run at 4K/60 in Maximum mode
• Maximum mode is also available on last gen consoles.
• Maximum mode is not available on Series S
• Auto HDR
• PS5 locked at 60fps
• Series X performance bug makes the fps buckle in a specific stretch of road which also affects the One X
• VRR doesn't help much in that area

This is sad how XSX can't run a remastered game at a locked 60fps. The "tools" has become the new cloud. Microsoft lied about how powerful that piece of crap really is.

regarding the "bug" John and Richard say it is a software thing not a hardware thing, as the X1X has the same drop in the same areas.

Thanks for that. I updated the OP. And yes it's a software bug since it happens in that specific spot on both Xbox consoles. Not a huge deal though.

I didn't claim victory fact is about 95% of the games are almost identical and that's not what Xbox fanboys were expecting this gen.

I somehow remember when The Division 2 had effects missing on the ps5 because of a bug, but extreme lems was a actually claiming that the possible reasons why the effects was missing because of the increased resolution/frames, even though it was clear that those very same effects was present on the pro version. I just want lems to see just how funny irony can be. Now in this instance the frames dips in both XSX and x1x version and I see just how quick it was ruled out as "a bug". Now I'm definitely not denying it in fact I completely agree to it being a bug, however some people need to learn to not spew nonsense because tables can turn on you very quickly in life.
