Diablo 3-What will be your starting class?

What will be your starting class and WHY?

What class impresses you the most so far?

In GUFU, I already called dibs on the Monk. I chose him because he is a really cool addition to the franchise, with his focus on well-timed combos. It's almost like something you would find in a hack-and-slash game or even a fighter! He also seems like a mixture of the paladin and the assassin from Diablo II, both which were really fun cIasses to play with.

As we speak, Killab and siLVURcross are fighting for the Barbarian. :>>>>>>

Demon Hunter, because I generally prefer long range weapon types. Most RPGs / MMOs I play I always create an archer class if possible.

Witch Doctor because Necro was my favorite D2 character. :P

Monk - the Pope mixed with Bruce Lee. Now that's gangsta.

Wizard - dats one crazy *****

Witch Doctor - Don't mess with Voodoo!

Wizard. No matter what the game, I choose Paladin, Mage, Wizard, or whatever main spell based class there is. I even chose Magician in Demon's Souls, supposedly one of the hardest starting classes. I just have more fun that way.

Why? Summons.

The skill rune will allow for Giant Toad that eats monsters and digests them.

Enough said.

Demon Hunter, the bad@$$ level is off the charts with her.

That and I like ranged fighters.

Yep, he's basically a priest who can cast a lot of buffs/auras to augment his Kung Fu. o.O

Did you see what they are doing with the runes at Blizzcon? The Witch Doctor has this spell where he summons toads. One of the runes will cause toads to rain from the sky and another one will summon a giant toad that can eat people. It's awesome.

Demon Hunter most likely.

I'm the swordsman, hack 'n slash, and the brute type of a player, and I prefer melee over long range or spell casting.

and yet besides better graphic's diablo 2 seems better in ever aspect over 3 really i loved the first 2 games way to much and loged in 100's of hours into 2 online and off and yet i can honestly say at first i was so hyped for 3 but now with the more i have read and heard about it i can easily pass it and not care about 3elbert_b_23

Really? How so?

Here are some changes I like about Diablo III:

• Physics engine, which changes your strategy. For example, you can bounce grenades off of walls to hit enemies around the corner, or cause parts of the environment to collapse and destroy your foes.
• Skill runes, add a lot more customizability to your characters than runes in Lord of Destruction ever did.
• Your gear and skills will change appearance depending on attributes/runes you attach. Remember how everybody in LoD had white gear and almost looked the same because they just used runewords? Yeah that was totally awesome...
• Dedicated PvP zones and modes, along with rewards for winning. If Blizzard's history says anything, this will probably be even more fleshed out as time goes on through patches.
• Achievements

Also, don't forge the voiced lorebooks that will drop from monsters.

Help players to delve far deeper into the story than they ever did in Diablo2.

The traits system and the skill runes system sound better than any system in Diablo2. This game will have far more customization than Diablo2, which is already a super customizable game.

The combat will be deeper than your average hack and slash. It will involve some tactical gameplay.

Interactive environment-hit walls,pillars to kill monsters and monsters can do that to you as well.

Oh-in the dessert environment, you can lure monsters into sand tornadoes and watch them swirl to death.

all of that are just some impressive features.

Wizard, coz spells are always the best option in RPG's :)

I'm going to start off with the Barb because I'm a close quarters mele kinda guy, but i will eventually get around to playing all the other awesome characters though.

Kind of a toss up between the witch doctor and demon hunter.

The Wizard all the freakin way. I don't know how anyone could watch her trailer and not want to pick her.

Either Wizard or Demon Hunter. Those are the only clas.ses I am interested in.
