Diablo III Opening CGI Cutscene!

Blizzard always knows how to do it with these cutscenes. Grr, now where is my release date!?

Awesome cutscene.

So far it's an incredible experience that absolutely must be played and that's just my thoughts from the beta!

Looks epic, but that dialouge is almost worse than the one in the MGRising trailer at VGA xD \dracolich55

Eh, probably. It definitely sets the stage for the first act of the game though.

Yeah. This game is definitely more story-driven. However, it fleshes out extremely well and it only comes at you in small spurts. Once you get a Massacre Bonus of 100+ enemies from triggering a gauntlet event, you'll get exactly what I'm saying.

Decent except for the fact that Blizzard still has some the worst voice acting direction and dialogue of any AAA company.

Why the electric guitar? Are we trying to be Dragon Age 2 here?

As far as WoW is concerned? Yes, I completely agree.

But playing a Blizzard game for it's story is like watching the Star Wars prequels for Hayden Christensen.

I've played Cataclysm and I still am. The end of Cataclysm and the announcement of MoP basically cemented your facts.

I've played Diablo 3 and as a huge fan of that franchise I am satisfied with the evolution that's it has taken on.

You calling me "bro" certainly didn't help.

It sucks. It's incredible that despite how much time and money went into making this cinematic, it's pales in comparison to the original diablo's opening cinematic, which actually had a soul and a sense of foreboding events. This is just another over-bloated, cringe-inducing embarrassment carried over from starcraft 2. And let's not mention the women looks like a character from final fantasy series who just came back from a salon. runbleduck

My thoughts exactly, it just comes off as so generic despite the high production values. Diablo 2 is on my Top 5 All Time list, so watching Activision spoil the series physically pains me...

The previously released cutscene is better than this one. I want the game, not more cutscenes. At this rate, it isn't a stretch to expect Diablo 3 to be pushed to 2nd quarter of 2012

while i did like lod i do wonder why the keep brining him when we keep killing him. spoiler art! diablo dies in the game! breaking news! diablo returns in diablo 4. seriously can we have a new main character? like maybe the spawn of diablo or something. im sure blizzard can think of something. yes its is sounding like im hating the game but one should not be so blinded by a video game(and to be blinded by something let alone a video is sad) and able to point outs its flaws
