[QUOTE="freedomfreak"]Superior version.rjdofuIt's quite true though, no joke. No online DRM. THHBFR
terrible how? I saw my gf's brother play it on his laptop and it seemed fun enough[QUOTE="campzor"][QUOTE="HaloinventedFPS"]
It's a terrible game, i have no idea why you would want it on PS4
Sagem28
It's no Diablo 2.
But the game is fun enough. I'd say 8/10.
never played diablo 2, so my expectations cannot be shattered!Yep, four player, pretty cool huh
There is going to be local co-op?! :o gimme gimme gimee!
_Matt_
Same here, I'm considering buying it just because of that and some co-op.Yeah, if I had a PS3, I'd actually try this out, AO-DRM stopped me from getting the PC version.

If you didn't play Diablo 2, you will probly enjoy it
it's problems come from being all around poorly designed compared to Diablo 2, anyone who played a lot of D2 will hate it
You know the consoles are ancient when friggin Diablo looks like @ss on one.
What is up with all the jaggies, and it looks like it's running at 720p... Seriously? The PS3 can't handle Diablo 3 at 1080p? It's mostly 2D!
Kinthalis
Because some levels in Act 3 gets a lot of enemies on screen (more than any area in Diablo 2 actually), PS3 will crap itself in act 3, especially with 4 players
[QUOTE="Snugenz"]Amen. What class are u playin?Diablo 3 is a far cry from its predecessors (and yes i played the bejesus out of D3 to form this opinion, every class in Inferno pre-uber nerfs), Path of Exile on the other hand is F2P and a much better game.
rjdofu
I got a Ranger, Marauder, and Shadow, all level 25-45. It's way too good. Haven't played in a couple weeks, though. Might have to get back into it, now that I'm done with Mass Effect 2.

Yeah, I'm making a summoner & a trap shadow. I kinda love the skill tree, haven't seen anything quite like that before. Artstyle & music are really nice as well. And HAIL THE FLASKS! Just hope they can have a sorting system though, manually moving those scrolls & items is a pain in the @ss.Visuals aside, the lack of DRM and local co-op alone makes it better then the PC version as far as I'm concerned.skrat_01Good for you. meanwhile those without a rod up their ass will know the online version is much better.
The game itself isn't too bad. I still can't get over the downgrade in grpahics, I guess the sheer number of enemies Is too much for the PS3.
As for the online DRM - who doesn't have a PC laways connected to the internet? It never bothered me. And local co-op? Yeah, like Iw ant so share a screen in Diablo. All I need is someone moving forward before I get a chance to pick somehtign up, or being unable to chekc somehtign out because someone is busy going through their inventory.
Online gameplay is fine, or LAN, if you absolutley must be in the same room.

You are the only person I know on this board that defends always online DRM.
Why is that ?

I am not. I dont like online DRM. But I'm not stupid enough to think local co-op only is better than the current battle.net system in terms of community and features. It has its ups, it has its downs. At least I dont cry over ONE issue.I am not. I dont like online DRM. Path of Exile is better than D3 and is online only, nobody is crying about that. its simple but hurt old gamers that hate change. if offline mode for these grind-aholic style MP games is so vital why is torchlight doing the worst in terms of population out of these 3? Offline-loner item-grinds is not what the majority want. always online provides a non ch eatable competitive environment which is what the MAJORITY of these type of gamers want despite was SP whining neckbeards will say. I imagine it was a similar philosophy for Sim City. afterall its a "reboot" its not labeled Sim City V ... or anything like that. new vision, new implementation. some aspects of it suck, but others are really good. "Buh Buh I cant play it on the train or at my grans house" (2 most common used reasons here) how sad.[QUOTE="Sagem28"][QUOTE="MBirdy88"] [QUOTE="Sagem28"]

PoE provides more changes & innovation than that POS D3 will ever be.
Why is torchlight doing the worst in terms of population out of these 3?
1. Cut that Diablo name out of Diablo 3, and it'll be left with an empty shell of a broken game that built around RMAH.
2. Path of exile is a F2P
3. Torchlight 2 did ok; in fact it did fvcking fine and get universal acclaims.

You really sound like you approve the online DRM...
Whatever floats your boat I guess.
PoE has no end game and is just as boring as D3 at the endDiablo 3 is a far cry from its predecessors (and yes i played the bejesus out of D3 to form this opinion, every class in Inferno pre-uber nerfs), Path of Exile on the other hand is F2P and a much better game.

I support games that make good use of it and are different than just milking their predocessors ideas yet removing most of the expansion content, which is guilty of 99% of bloody seqauls that you guys lap up time and time again. give me a persistant 10 year+ universe that just expands and updates due to good income any day. like I said, oldies mind set. That's one of the biggest pile of sh!t i've read on this site.[QUOTE="rjdofu"]

Thank you for providing me such a challenging debate. Sorry, I didnt think "F2P is valued so little that connection issues are not a problem" despite people investing 100s of hours and money in extras for it. I don't find repeating F2P several times reinforces your poor perspective. That "POS" Diablo 3 still has millions of players and regaurdless of its bad direction has improved alot over time.... maybe these games are just old hat and "meh" now.... especially with MMOs that do it much better, more challenging and with more purpose. "OMG I DONT LIKE THE FACT THAT PEOPLE LIKE ONLINE RPGS MORE THAN MINDLESS LONER NON STORY ITEM GRIND SP GAMES, R****** RE TARDUS". Better for you? pipe down. Please Log In to post.
