Did anyone actually buy AvP today?

Im just wondering to see how it is. I have seen from 2.0 to 10 on user reviews. God I feel sorry for those whom didnt enjoy it after purchase.

real diehard fans of the movies should love it.

If you enjoy the movies even for their cheesyness then you would like this game. My girlfriend has it and it is very fun to goof around with. Mostly cause I just love to trophy kill people with the predator.

Naw, ill give it a rent though. I honestly think 90% of the games that come out arent worth buying. Unless they have a lot of replay value i wont buy it, unless I see it for like 10-15 bucks. I was going to buy Bioshock 2 but im glad I didnt because I beat it in 3 days and had no desire to try the online or play again.

I did not buy it but from what I've seen it looks pretty dang awesome.

Well Team Fortress 2 is this gen so it can't be the best! I've yet to try the AvP demo but I might soon, won't purchase it though.

I played the demo, and it sucked. It felt like one to ignore so I'm not taking my chances.

I did. It's a bit disappointing so far, but not quite 5.5... I'd say it's a 6.5.

I was going to buy it but after playing the demo I decided not to. =/

Got if for ,y 360 because my PC has way too much other stuff on it that I actually need atm.

Not a bad game, so far. I'd give it between a 6.5 and a 7.0. But it's nowhere near AVP2. Too bad they didn't get Monolith to do it.

Should have gotten it. But Brother got Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (with the all new PS3 greatest hits box) and Hot Shots Out of Bounds game.

believe or not..I actually like playing as a xenomorph in the demo...the controls are good :P

im sure it will sell fine if a garbage ip like sonic can still move units.

I'll probably pick this one up when I can, deployed right now so I don't access to the widest selection of games at the moment.

From what I've seen of the reviews thus far, it seems abit nitpicky (especially the Gamespot one.... Alot of praise only to give it a 5.5...) and some of the complaints seem abit out there.

I loved the 2 AVP's on the PC so I'll take my chances here on this one, even if I do end up just playing multiplayer it'll be worth it to me.

Yup I picked it up after work , I put about 4-5 hours into the game so far. Played Infestation/Survival/The Predator Campaign/ A little Bit of the Alien campaign.

It's not the greatest game but it's not the worst, so far I'd give it a 7.0 leaning towards 7.5.
