I've read journalists trying out Project natal and they say the demo works well.
However I haven't read any journalists demoed the motion wand?

You think this is a joke?
So how can gamers get an actual feel or know how good it responds when there is no practical feedback from some of the people there?
If it's so good, why didn't Sony have demos or let the audience there try it?

There's no software for it. Just gonna have to wait till next E3. Maybe they'll have something at TGS?

originality is your friend.... you should pay more attention to him.
I don't think sony's motion tech was really ready to be shown. I think a big reason why they did show it was because Natal was demonstrated and they didn't want to show up next E3 "HEY HERE'S OUR MOTION TECHNOLOGY, SORRY WE'RE LAST TO THE PARTY LOL."
Probably part of the reason why the developers were so nervous on stage. The presentation was still impressive, but at the same time I don't think motion technology is synonymous with progress for gaming.

But they are last to the party... I'd put money on it, that MS will have released their camera b4 Sony releases their "Ball on a Stick"

They said it wont be released by the end of the "Calendar" year, which could mean the possibility of it being released before the end of the fiscal year.
Of course, yes, MS could and probably will release theirs first.
