There was a part where he was making fun of (or "cracking" on) M$ and M$'s Project Natal. It was really funny and I couldnt believe Project Natal is getting so much media attention. Anyways if anyone could find the vid on it, anyone with TEVO, or something.

Ah..... the media is playing right into MS' hands. Nevermind if the stuf in the commercial really works or how well it works. When people see that commercial, they are straight bamboozled. Colbert..... is he ever not funny? Good stuff.

It's one of the things people think of when they think of the future. It's something cool and never seen before. Im sure the Wii got just as much media attention when it was first being released

Lol... his button crashed! Honestly this is bad for MS because if this fails (which it has a large chance at doing) they will pay for it.

I don't have the Colbert report in my country. Only the Daily show, so I don't really know how the show works.

Well Colbert used to be on The Daily Show but now he has his own show that comes on right after The Daily Show. I would say most people that watch The Daily Show stick around for another 30 minutes to watch The Colbert Report.

He also said that the president murdered an innocent house fly and was very put off by this. It's Colbert. Do you take his comments seriously? You can see it on Hulu anyone is interested. I didn't think it was that funny. It was sort of funny when he hit the button on his reject machine and it made a MS specific sound, but even that wasn't that funny.

Exactly, he said yes to invest. He said NATAL was obsolete only because he had their next step in technology, which obviously he doesn't. It was a joke. So if all your basing your argument on is the scream when he hit the button then I've got nothing left to say.

Christ American comedy is so..dumb.

"sorry my button crashed"? Good job, whats the matter your audience to stupid to get the punch line? Gotta spell it out? It's not that I'm offended with the topic. It's that I'm offended by the very fact this man is considered funny. It's the same with friends, the day that show died i celebrated like there was no tomorrow.

Must admit the American version of the office though, awesome. Really great show. I had hope that you was finally getting what funny was then i found out Ricky Gervais had a hand in it, which explains a lot.

In short; he was not funny. He is not funny. Nor will he ever be funny.

It was funny though, especially with the invisible ex-xbox.

It's the next logical step, don't really need the controller to play games, then next you don't really need the console.

Just have a live account and play games while they are streamed to a network enabled T.V.

Sorry, but foreigners cannot, in this sense, accuse something like another regions comedic tastes as being 'dumb', simply because they lack the cultural experience. Colbert is made by Americans, about Americans, and for Americans.

See last post. Foreigners cannot and should not criticize another nation's/region's comedy as they lack the cultural understanding that it's based on and they will inevitably make comparisons of it to their own nation's comedic tastes. If you don't find it funny, it's probably not because Americans are easily amused, but merely because you are ignorant of the satirical (or humor genre of a whole) in the aforementioned country and are used to your own nation's brand of comedy. For all that is holy, learn to differentiate "not funny" from "lack of cultural understanding".

My favorite part was when he asked if it was a good idea to invest in Microsoft and when he hit the button for the answer, it crashed. Well that and when he showed the next Xbox.

Maybe, maybe not, I find other American shows funny, but honestly he was weak, Ive seen many comedy acts of alot of nations, inlcuding America... my generization was a joke based on his "Americism" Poster Image. some button gags, and weak typical lines (especially the natal one) were weak. Its not cultural in that sense its preference no doubt. On topic, natal no matter how mainstream the attention it gets will never have the impact the Wiimote has natually because its an addon only, now releasing a system for it... thats something different.
