I have to be honest my outlook for this years E3 wasn't good in the least. The mediocre MS keynote was starting to solidify some of my thoughts, and then came the Killzone 2 trailer and images. My hype is back and the E3 drums are pounding. Say what you want, but without the KZ2 news these boards would be pretty dead right now. Here's to more exciting E3 news! MS might just have to try to a pull one up on Sony. I can't wait to see what's next! (edit: got too excited and said the same thing twice)

I'm pleased with E3 right now, despite the underwhelming MS conference. Since I already have a 360, I'm using e3 as a way to shop around for another console.
Microsofts conference was simply disappointing,no price cut,no Ninja Gaiden,no Banjo,nothing. Killzone has satisfied us,and will be the highlight of this years E3.

completely agree. and alot that was great, wasn't even exclusive.
Killzone 2 looks awesome but still, one game franchise that hasnt been very succesful in the past isnt going to suddenly open the ps3 floodgates to the general public IMO

Yes it's not going to break the bad PR dam overnight but it's a start. I do have a bad habit of adding some sensationalism to my writing. Ninty doing an online demo of SSB would be SWEET! :D
I thought Halo 3 looked amazing but MS really don't do anything major this E3 so I think the gate is wide open for Nintendo or Sony to storm through and claim victory.
Killzone looks outstanding from what we've seen imo, so I'm very excited to hear more about it.
