The game Seaman for the Dreamcast? I mean it seems people are saying how groundbreaking this is, but I remember talking to an underwater thing with a human face and interacting with it like 10 years ago, except a bit more technological. Thoughts?

I was reminded of that computer AI girl from the Resident Evil movie.
Milo: "You're all going to die down here"
Me: ....Thanks Milo.
I remember that game with the big ugly green mic. Milo seems like a refined seaman. The game Seaman for the Dreamcast? That's pretty much what the definition of groundbreaking is. Treading new ground. 10 years ago the tech wasn't ready, now it is. Technically, it is groundbreaking. The game Seaman for the Dreamcast? It reminded me of this...
You can interact and talk with Pikachu. Also it seems, Milo much like Pikachu in this game are annoyingly childish.
Perhaps if they did it with an interesting person like a virtual Lucy Liu. :P
Seriously though, this tech seems refined and has a lot of potential.
I like the tech involved, but why would I talk to a 12-year-old kid rather than my own friends?:P If they used the tech in video games for you to interact with other characters, though, then it would be amazing.:DNYrockinlegendThat's kinda the purpose of a tech demo :?

I was thinking about that one PS2 game; Life something. Where you guide that space chick.VandalvideoLifeline. Good game given the time it released.
Rofl... :P Looks cool though.Me: Hey Milo start dancing
Milo: I'm sorry... what? Would you like to put your hands in a pond instead? Maybe we could catch a fish or two.
Me: No I want you to dance.
Milo: *blank stare*...want to draw a picture instead?
Me: Milo..you dumb***

actually that's what it's for. it's for more than milo. there's 1 vs 100, that weird paint/dodge ball demo, video conferencing with friends, they showed off a racing game. this is just the start. if marketed properly and for the right price, and if it becomes popular, expect more games to use it.
