what cracks me up, is that the Wii is ALL ABOUT Motion, yet games like GH/RB don't really use the Wii at all. Yet, As GH proves, people are are buying it anyway, proving the Wii is gimmicky, and that games don't need Motion to be on the wii.
Its all so pointless.
Buying GH on the Wii is admitting you wasted money on the wii in most cases. ME? I bought a wii for the motion, and have games like MP3,Zelda, and the upcoming Mario.
I would never play a PS2 game on the Wii, without MAJOR enhancements, something GH LACKS.

the wii has the best guitar if you go by the number of features. and it has online (better than the PS3's.)
Rock Band's biggest feature is weekly downloadable songs and albums.I doubt thats possible on the Wii.
everybody is forgetting about how many parents and kids play the wii together and what target audience the wii is chasing. The wii is mostly geared towards casual gamers, and would a casual gamer want to buy a $200 game? I dont think it would sell very well on the wii. The ps3 and 360 are more for the hardcore gamers and that's why it's only for those 2. im just talking consoles here so before some hermit jumps in here and starts attacking me this is a console discussion lol. so yea thats my opinion. there very well may be hardcore gamers out there that play the wii but I dont think the hardcore wii players outweigh the casual gaming audience in any way. unknowndrk
So Guitar Hero and Rock Band are suddenly games for hardcore players? Those are the most casual games you can get, that's why they sell that much. The price wont stop any casual from buying it, if he really wants to play it. Basicly they're milking everyone who buys this into oblivion. GH1 is the same stuff as GH3 with different tracks, could be easily downloadable content, so is Rock Band aside of the "new instruments" fanfare.
Huge mistake...
There are more units of the Wii than either of the other two. The audience is into games that break the traditional. The Wii is the console with the emphasis on immersion peripherals.
There is just too much of a good fit to not port it to onemore system (that already has the necessary wireless and motion capacities).
I was amazed that it wasn't released for the Wii to be honest. I guess MTV hasn't heard who is running the show this gen.
