Just something about this issue of European PS3s being less backwards compatible and the numerous claims that Sony lied to us.

well they did say in june that they were taking out the emotion engine, but saying 4d 120 fps dual hdmi is going way to far.

well they did say in june that they were taking out the emotion engine, but saying 4d 120 fps dual hdmi is going way to far.Goldensun48
well 4d i think that the any system can do it just time as in trees growing or flowers growing if the dev wants to put the time in then shore they all can have 4d. i will give the 120fp that was stupid it mite be able to do if the split screen each having 60fp. at least the gave us hdmi on both versions not just one like it was in the begining.

They said there would be one SKU that would cost no more than 399 USD [and came with Bluray and a HDD] and have a worldwide launch in Spring 06... the rest is history...

That's not a lie. They simply changed their minds. I'm continually amazed at how liberal people's defintion of a lie is here.

Yes Sony lied to us, gaming in 4D isnt nearly as much fun as 3D. NIntendo I am stll waiting for my gaming Revolution, instead I am just left holding my Wii.(damn these toliet queues) At least I can stll play in my lucid dreams.

No. Its just that they need more money now in the games part ;) So instead of waiting till they can offer good emulation. They are doing it now. Not that anyone cares :S I only play old FFgames, Spyro and MGS. My PS2 plays them fine.

Right Europe doesn't care, just look at the comments in the news article on Eurogamer.net. You really mean you don't care as your probably in America. A lot of people were planning on trading in PS2's to offset the cost of the PS3 a little in Europe since Europe isn't even getting the 500 Euro model at launch.

120 FPS was in reference to movies
