Not really, I just read that the PSP outsold the DS in Japan last month. I would link it, but I'm a damn noob and keep having trouble linking crap on this forum for some reason. I found the article on gamerevolution.

Star Ocean remake(and first NA release), Dissidia, PE3, KH and Phantasy Star Portable are what I'm getting for sure (assuming a few come out here). Some of the rest look good too, on the DS front, I'm looking forward to DQ9.. and... thats it.

To answer the TC question the PSP is not dead but it like owning a GC there is long waits for games. The next big game Star Ocean 1 remake comes out in October.

personally if given the choice of a free console (and i didn't have a dsl already) i'd choose PSP because its a better media player (DSL has nothing but the games it plays, which is ok but technology is evolving after all) also the games sony are pushing out are far more inventive than that of the gimmicky touch screen. I have 8 games on DS and only 2 need the touch screen :?

Seeing as AAA and AA are subjective anyway (one person's AA is another's AAA) I'd say with better graphics and longer games you are getting more vale for your money on PSP.

It's not that the PSP doesn't have good existing games, or even some good games coming in the future. The bigger problem is the distribution of those good games. Over the past 18 months, there were 6 months when the didn't have an AA-AAA rated game. 40% of the AA-AAA rated games released in that time period were released in 2 months, Feb. 07 and Oct 07. So yes, you're waiting longer between those hit titles.

Games? 2 big games were announced last week.

It's funny that people(fanboys) say there's nothing interesting on the PSP's library, because it's library, if we go by scores, kills the Wii's and the PS3's easily.

Yea, there are some big titles people are going to hype (Although I never liked the Parasites, Agito looks to have infinitely more promise just because of its name), but half the responses in the thread by cows are 'then how come the PSP is ouselling the DS in Japan in hardware sales?' Which is completely irrelevant to its library.

I sold mine during the DS Lite mania. I will eventually get a PSP when the thing is a fossil because it does have games worth playing. The price is just ridiculous.AgileNate
