Did you anticipate agame then later own found out its kinda meh.

I feel my anticipation for blue dragon slowly goingaway, because after i played the bioshock demo it was amazing and itll have an even better story than blue dragon butifeel like ill like blue dragon more, now im still going to get blue dragon this month, buthave you ever anticipated a game for along time to find out you dont really want it iin the end.

I don't understand HOW you can be anticipating Blue Dragon, the demo was a mockery to every RPG ever made, its so cliche.WOWZORS

Yeah The darkness blows.

For me it was Legend of Mana.

I loved (L O V E D) Secret of Mana and Secret of Evermore on the SNES. And the instant the translated version of Secret of Mana 2 hit the interweb (Seiken Densetsu 3) I downloaded it and beat it in a week.

So lo and behold I find out the next great "Secret of Mana" is finally coming to the PS1. I bought the game and after playing it for 30 minutes returned it to EB. When they asked why I was returing it, my response was "You forgot to sell me the plot when you sold me this game."

Biggest ... letdown ... ever.

Phantasy Star Universe. I love PSO 2, so i bought PSU and it was an utter crap fest.

God yes, oblivion. I drooled over that game for 2 years before launch, only to stop playing it 2 weeks after a I bought it. SAD SAD SAD SAD

Halo 2......i was so hyped after Halo 1:(, wasnt a bad game by all means, but i expected much more from them

That and belive it or not Half Life 2, i herad such great things about it, but i love the mods for it. Like SMOD it acually makes me enjoy the Single Player after the 2nd time:D

Funny becuase there both games in my two favourite series:)

Neverwinter Nights 2 ... what a let down.

I guess Mario Power Tennis, and Simpsons Hit & Run. Both were crap games.

At least Power Tennis had a nice visual style but the sound was as appealing as the sound a human carcase being grated, and the gameplay was sooooooooooo cheap. I couldn't believe the N64 game has actually BETTER gameplay than the GC one, even today.

Simpsons was cruddy for a few reasons: crap graphics, awful driving mechanics, broken missions, repetitive gameplayand one ofthe worst mutliplayer modes I've everplayed. Also, the Itchy and Scratchy cartoon sucked at the end, but at least the gamewas remotely funny -still, not enough to save it beingawful.

As forupcoming releases, my hype and died down for No More Heroes.It looks really rough, I don't see what people see in it.

Meh, we all ended up playing 2 more ... better maps/modes, and the story feature in 3 was abit ... gimmicky.

Um the framerate was pretty solid on the demo I noticed no slowdown but as you are a hardcore lemming you have never played it and the full game isnt even out yet so dont bother.

I get exactly what he is saying. The random battle system isnt even as advanced as FF11 and it also does one of the most dreaded things that I cant stand in RPG's which is Randomly generated Dungeons where basically the whole level looks the same.

• Red Steel, very badly rushed
• Farcry Vengeance, pure garbage
• Heatseeker, ugly and half broken
• Excite Truck, way too shallow
• Zelda TP, too easy and very boring
• RE4: Wii Edition, controls are different not better as I expected, no visual upgrade
• Killzone, rushed
• Halo 2, dissapointing campaign compared to the original's
• Fable, way too short and wanted free roaming
• Morrowind, combat mechanics killed it

Gears of War. I was expecting something like when I put Halo:CE in my Xbox for the first time. I was severely let down.myke2010

i dunno why but my anticipation for mass effect has kind of gone down as well. im starting to drift away from liking futuristic space adventure starwars esque storys to more gritty, cyberpunk and dystopic stories(and yes playing the bioshock demo cemented that NOTHING will beat this game)Melfencik

What about stories involving Orcs and the Undead teaming up to fight Humans and Night Elves?
