[QUOTE="Malta_1980"][QUOTE="SeekeRuk"] i have a good blu ray player imo one of the best i would say thx to sony making it so cheap i really like the fact that it will also play games :)
lets face it ps3 fanboys if the ps3 did not have the cheapest blu ray player on the market when it came out then the ps3 would not have sold so many and blu ray would have lost to HD dvd.
very very good the way sony have done this becuase all you fanboys do not see how your beloved sony have used you.
thumbs up to sony on how they did it tho.
i thx them for my blu ray player, but if your a gamer and you thought you where getting a 100% pure gaming platform you must be sick or in denile!
seeker out!
(it fact this btw)

i hope you dont truly believe all the crap you posted... i have 3 blu-ray movies and 34 games on PS3 + 10 PSN titles... So i let you do the working and conclude yourself whether i got a PS3 for movies or games...
ofc i believe it because it is true that is want sony did lol! they used the sony fanbase to get blu ray media in control! mate you are one person out of millions. if you think what i posted is crap then you are one of the people in denile about how sony think and planed it all!i can agree with you when you say Sony used the Playstation brand (PS3) to help Blu-ray getting an 'install' base knowing many loyal Playstation fans would get a PS3, thus having authomatically a Blu-ray player in their homes...
However Sony didnt play me, I knew i was buying an expensive console but nearly 2 years later I am a happy PS3 owner and enjoyed many great exclusives which otherwise i couldnt have played and multiplats... PSN though slightly inferior to Live is a great FREE online service and lets not forget PS3 is reliable and has many other multimedia functions.. Blu-ray is just a plus, though it came at an expence...
Its the same as people complaining about 360 when encountering RROD or other probs... I own a 360 and was aware of its unreliable hardware so if one day (hopefully not) it will fail on me, its useless to complain since I know what i was getting in the first place...
All you said is just your personal opinion, far from being facts... Sony might have indirectly imposed on its gamers to spend more in order for them to release PS3 with the Blu-ray format but each person that got a PS3 did it simply because he/she wanted the console for its amazing exclusives. You seem not to get it that Blu-ray only hurt Sony since they could have released the PS3 along the 360 with a DVD drive and at a cheaper price and would probably be enjoying bigger sales and Profits..
Am sure Sony didnt plan being in the current situation, which is in last place and encountering major losses...
