I'll wait for a price drop/sale since it costs $30 more in Canada. It's too bad we aren't getting the regular model as I might have pre-ordered that.
Yeah, Majoras Mask edition. Not sure if I can get rid of the launch day one, though. It's a great little console and superior to the first Xl in every way.
I got the Monster Hunter 4 one pre-ordered and I think it looks pretty cool. Well it would have to for me to justify purchasing a 3rd 3DS.....
Nope. I've been wanting to upgrade, but the MM edition didn't interest me and the MH4U bundle is more expensive than buying the game and system separate.
My 3DS is about to turn 4 and it's still kicking. I can wait a bit longer.
I'm holding off until a game comes out I really want to play, then I'll upgrade. Until then, I'm fine with my current XL, should be fine to play Majora's Mask on.
no i plan on walking into a walmart an getting it
or maybe ordering at amazon
im not pre-ordering stuff like that
Nope. Despite all the issues with it (micro SD, lack of adapter, etc) I'll probably get one eventually. I just don't feel like paying full price for one. I got a Pikachu XL for $149, and a Gold Triforce Zelda XL for $149 (that actually came with the Zelda game). Why would I pay $199 or $229 for essentially the same thing with no game - and then have to buy a adapter and new micro SD card? I will wait for there to be a cool bundle that I can get for $149.
Nintendo loves their handheld special and limited editions, so I'm sure there will be better things for those who wait.
I'm sort of praying I'll find a Majora's Mask New 3ds at some store on launch day(fat chance). But If not I'll probably give in and just buy a black or red one. I kind of want to hold out now though for some Fire Emblem Special Edition, but who knows when that will launch.
A Friend of mine was pretty dead set on getting me one for my Birthday.
Though he says it might not get her till late March.
No, I've enough issues with my XL that the only worthwhile upgrade would be to a new system entirely. So long as they don't do anything silly like making the new Metroid N3DS exclusive (or 'enhance' it to a degree that makes the 3DS version feel inadequate), I think I'll be fine as I am.
I would have pre-ordered if the version I wanted was available in my region. Thanks Nintendo :))))))))))

according to nintendo.com the new 3DS comes with a 4 gig micro...and why would you need a charger when you have 2 3DS's?
@papatrop: Welcome to the Master Race man. Enjoy actually fun handheld games.
Nah, I actually didn't get one.
But the 3DS does suck. Wait 6 months in between good releases, and they never drop in price. Meanwhile other platforms you can just get a handful of great games for the price of one decent 3DS game. **** that.
Nope, because the 3DS sucks.
Getting a Vita instead.
Could you buy about ten million Vita's while you're at it ?
Then perhaps Sony might finally make some games again for the system.

Hmmm, true. And handheld games used to be so cheap compared to console games or even PC games. But those drop in price so fast these days. Yet Nintendo's handheld games just stay the same price for ever.

Well there used to be a time that Nintendo handhelds were also loaded with 3rd party support, and those games did drop in price frequently.
The 3DS's best games are mostly Nintendo games nowadays which never drop, or they're Atlus games which are for some reason more expensive. I was hoping when I bought this thing that it'd turn out like the original DS, but it seems Apple really has taken its toll on handheld game development.

Well, if it means avoiding a future where the sole means of playing games on the go is with a mobile phone, than I'll happily pay any price that Nintendo or any other company still developing for 3DS/Vita asks.

You sure seem to love them to...

I have to find cheaper alternative means of mobile entertainment.
I guess I could talk to a stranger on the street.

On the other hand, I've been having a field day clearing out my back catalog on Vita, many of the top games being between $10 and $25, on top of the PS+ and Anniversary sales.
No, I think I'll stick with my "old" 3DS XL.
The 3DS, in general, has been a disappointment to me. The only two must-have games for the system are Fire Emblem Awakening and Persona Q. That's a matter of taste, obviously.
I'll probably never buy a portable Nintendo console again, unless Sony suddenly drops out of the market. Even then, I'd probably just turn to a small Android device for my mobile needs (I'd game on my smartphone, but it's a Windows Phone, lol).
