Didn't this almost confirm damage modeling for GT5?

I was rewatching the teaser trailer of GT5 at E3 and noticed at one point they showed a car getting damaged. You could see the front left of the car getting smashed in a bit. I doubt they're going to show something in the trailer that's never going to happen in the real game. So yeah, doesn't that confirm damage modeling for GT5?

Okay, wait a minute. I just read a crazy claim about GT5... I know there's no comfirm date for GT5s release but it can't be any longer then Christmas of next year, can it? I 've read a prediction that it might come out 2011-2012. If it really takes that long to come out then I'm sure it will feathure full car damage and then some....Shattered007

yeah, this thing better be awesome! I am gonna buy a PS3 when it comes out- but not until then.

Paitence is a virtue. Supposedly each car takes like 6 months to do (if one person works on it)

Yeah. So theoretically that means with Gt5: 600 cars (dont know how much there is so just using a rough estimate) means that it will take them 3600 (300 YEARS!?) months to complete but thats not including the 150 staff that are working on GT5.

Funnily enough Kazunori Yamauchi, said they were shooting for a December 2008 release, so maybe hes just lying about the 6 months to cover the fact theyre taking forever to release the game

Yea sort of...Some guys at B3D(A public forum)claimed that motion blurr was too good and could not have been in game....Which i dont think is valid enough.

They also brought out the issue of VERY high resolution,again that can be explained from this :

I personally think its real,because i have been discussing it with the GT community and the trailer was strikingly similar to the graphics engine used in GT5 Prologue.Obviously better this time with some additional features here and there.

Also IGN already claimed during E3 that the footage was indeed ingame.I think i`ll take IGNs word over a public forums...

You're right, Alan Wait has been announced just has long but at least it has a release date now. Of course, it's next year, so GT5 can still release first.
