Dirt 2 on Wii!!!!! The 3rd party DEVS are turning to Wii at last!!!!

Dirt 1 was decent so I won't get my hopes up. And how is this any sort of sign? Its one mediocre game?

Well the graphics are bad, really bad, but as always, if the gameplay is great, this might be a fine game.

Conduit has proven that Wii can take on the HD consoles at their own game.

Whoop-de-do big deal. The funny thing about it is, no one will be playing it on that platform, except for Wii fanboys. Especially when there are other superior versions of this out there for the 360, PS3, & PC.

No, that's a pretty funny conclusion. Wii games sell fine. Some sell poorly, some sell great, some rise to heaven. Same as every platform. The funny thing is that Wii sales slack PS3 sales 3 times over and you say it like PS3 has fantastic sales when they are just decent. Third parties do decent on the PS3 true, granted whenever a multiplat is on all three systems with exception to shooters the wii version outsells the PS3 version. Lots of games not called mario or Wii Fit sell on the wii, don't delude yourself. The sales charts are itching to come out and make you look really bad.

cod 5 sold less on the Wii because it sucked (and somehow it still managed to sell well). The PS3 and 360 versions were much better. Really...it's not to hard to figure out.

I did look at it, & I do have to say that the graphics on that system are garbage. Granted, it has some exclusive modes, but that's not going to make PS3, 360, & PC fans to go out & buy a Wii just for those. Not to mention that there's no online for the Wii version.

the gentleman in question suggested that wii games sell poorly, which is if course false as the wii sells more third party software than any other console and it often has a strong presence in NPD and ELSPA charts.

he is also a cow which made things funnier as PS3 software sells very poorly

So much hate, but you all know that this proves that Wii is now getting all the best HD games.

Next up i hope that We can get Assasins creed and GTA. Who knows maybe in the future COD MW games will be exclusive to Wii becasue devs prefer the superior controls. :D

I didn't read the thread apart from the first post... but that game looks just terrible. I didn't care at all about the first Dirt so I couldn't care less about where they're taking the series but that looks, ugh, just god awful. I don't care about any of the silly fanboy rantings but to be completely honest there are racing games on the original XBox that look better than that. I'm not trying to be a dick either, but you saying it looks nearly just as good as the "HD" versions makes me think (if you're really being honest) that there's something wrong with your monitor. It looks like any of of the 1,000 dime a dozen racing games you'd see in any given pizza parlor a decade ago.

Don't know why anyone would care about Dirt, regardless. Did the first one have a big following or something? I heard barely anything about it.

the only halo game i've played is the first one, and while it isnt the best game in the world it stomps resistance

resistance is garbage. in all the time i played it i only enjoyed one level

the psp game isn't even that good but it's still way better than the crappy PS3 game
