Dishonored vs Far Cry 3 (FINALS)

Both games to me are not very good. Dishonored, a mediocre stealth game and Far Cry, an open-world shooter with no direction, no purpose and no entertainment to be derived from it.

Nope. Halo is garbage. Mediocre vehicle combat, practically non-existent, poorly-written storyline, bad environments, generic combat.

Far Cry 3 easily. Dishonored was a great game but it fell apart completely at times

I haven't played either... but my choice will be FarCry 3.... It just seems more up my alley

Hands down FC3, Dishonored was a pretty interesting game but it was one of those games I didn't care about finishing.

People were afraid of another FC2 which I thought was alright, but I didn't care for the story and the respawning outposts/relentless AI was pretty annoying which is the reason why a lot of people hated FC2. I loved the crap out of Far Cry 1,Far Cry Instincts and Far Cry Instincts Predator.

Its close, but Dishonored was more enjoyable for me overall. It had a more interesting setting and while both games offer a good amount of options for stealth and action I feel Dishonored was a bit more creative.

I don't mind if Far Cry 3 wins though, both are very well made games, I just like Dishonored's setting more.

FC3. Dishonered was too short and the stealth was too easy even compared to FC3s.

Far Cry 3 beats it in every aspect. Even in stealth gameplay.

Dishonored is too short to be GOTY. Far Cry 3 is really fun though, but I just can't get into the multiplayer aspects. But the map maker is fun, you can make so many illogical things lol, I made an animal survival map, a small area with nothing but predatory animals that constantly attack you, it's hilarious!

My personal GOTY is probably Mass Effect 3 or Black Ops 2.

I have only played Dishonored, but Farcry 3 doesn't look like my type of game at all so Dishonored it is.

Why do you want foreign people banned? As long as they understand english well then what's the problem? His english seems just fine.

While i do appreciate both Dishonoured and Far Cry 3, i have not yet played them nor plan to very soon. Something about open world games give me worries of being a chore rather than fun or lacking a sense of direction. Perhaps when i am done with dissertation, i would find time to play them

Nice try though.

Almost every FPS has generic combat. Even then, Halo manages to be slightly less generic than the average FPS.

Dishonored brought me back to that sense of awe and immersion that no other game has done as well for me since Bioshock (Bioshock 2 was great though, imo). I haven't played Far Cry 3, and it looks great and all but I somehow doubt it will outshine Dishonored in my eyes whenever it is I do get around to giving it a try.
