let me also state that i don't care what version is better. i have all three, but the textures in this test clearly have the upper hand on the 360 version.

make sure you enlarge the images.

i bought Burnout for PS3. the Ps3 version of DMC4 has that great disk install that cuts down the load times, but better aliassing and better textures are also important to me. But i can wait a while, you just miss out on 360 games. i'll just miss out on nothing.

i have a theory why the ps3 is a little blurry compared to the xbox. for the ppl that played the game, remember when nero and that fire creature are walking just like in that picture, the screen shakes causing a blur when you take a snapshot of the game. HAHA I SOLVED THE PUZZLE

Honestly, this just seems like a difference in sharpness. The thing I don't like about comparrisons like this are it's hard to tell if someone jockeyed with the TV's settings before the shots were taken. because honestly, it doesn't look like a "texture" thing to me. It looks like someone turned down the sharpness on the PS3 version, or up the sharpness on the 360 version. See those very tiny white pixels in the 360 version? that means the sharpness is up. See how its kinda blurry on the PS3 version? thats low sharpness. If you want the same quality on your PS3, turn up the sharpness.0rin

Yup.. has cleaner, sharper textures, but the PS3 doesn't look bad. The games are pretty identical. I said previously on another site that the 360 version probably would be a bit brighter and cleared. It was like that is many of the other PS3 / XBox 360 comparisons that Gamespot did in the past. This isn't a huge surprise. I think both games will score the same if I know Gamespot.

Control beats tiny textures any day. PS3 wins.

maby you should try a 360 controller because it is much better then the ps3 controller.
