Umm my hand couldn't have possibly hurt more than when I played DMC3 on the PS2 so your complaint is more about the game itself than the pad. Also Ninja Gaiden was designed with the XBOX controller and it never made my hand feel like it was being smashed in a vice like playing DMC3 did.
Try again.
I played both demos and didn't have a problem. I've never had trouble adapting to a consoles control scheme.
Both are comfortable.

Isn't that convenient. "No my hand hurt more from the PS3!! Then it pushed me down some stairs and slapped my sister!"
In general, action and fighting games feel better on Sony controllers.
I don't mind the 360 controls, and I've been playing DMC games for years. _Dispair_Same here, some people just have to find anything to complain about.
Oh my god is the 360 pad so uncomfortable when playing DMC4 my hand was cramping so much. The pad is definitely not fit for games like DMC4...jez i couldnt even image playing ninja gaiden with this pad. Its way to clunky and the handles are really annoying. The sixaxis is perfect for games like this. 360 controller might be good for fps but the sixaxis definitely wins in action adventure games. outbreak201
Opinion!!! it reeks of opinion!!

It ate my homework and impregnated my daughter. and it's anyone's right to prefer a controller. you can't argue with that.
I'm not knocking the PS3 controller or praising the 360 one in this case I am just saying that my hand hurt worse from playing DMC3 than any game I have ever played.
From what I could see of DMC4 on 360 (tried to play it on PS3 but after two hours of download time it was at 3% at my little bro's) they tuned the shooting so that for every one button press he shoots a few times so maybe it won't be as much of hand mangler as that is what I blame the hand pain on the most.

Maybe your hands are to small... ever think about that? I played the demo and it felt fine.CrimsonBlade360
It's arguable that the ps3 controller (and the dualshock before it) was designed for the smaller handed humans over in Japan (Japanese). You gotta admit it, we have bigger hands (and pretty much everything else) here in the west.

Seriously though, I merely stated that the ps3 controller was designed to suit smaller hands, at least more than the 360 was. Hence all the complaints I hear about the 360 controller being "too clunky" or "too big".
Humans are very adaptive, I'm sure people could play CS on a cellphone keyboard if they tried hard enough.

Yeah I probably do lol and I'm 6'1...i just don't measure these things alot.myspace.com/rickye89
go look ppl
Seems strange coming from a person with Myspace and seems to know how much he can bench(Which isnt much even for how small you are). But anyways, most sports programs and military recruits will tell you the same thing about your body mass ratio and were it should be.
Why is it strange that I'm not sure how much I weigh or my height? Its not an obsession for me. I dont even have a scale lol I'm going from the last time I measured ( probably a yr ago ).Seems strange coming from a person with Myspace and seems to know how much he can bench(Which isnt much even for how small you are). 200 isn't really that much for bench, I was doing 250 senior year, and I was far from the strongest on my football team. There's nothing wrong with it though, you're 6'1" you've got alot more real estate than me (5'10" 180) to put on muscle on.
I'll agree that it feels more... natural.. on the ps3.Khanezhyray
More like familiar than anything. Its a controller so peference is pretty much opinated. This could go about with both, neither are better, neither are worse. Different and unfamiliar, not better or worse.

Anyway its fine to prefer one controller over the other, but its all opinion.
