Autotaim, no recoil, floaty controls, one man army tactics = skill? Thats funny. Halo 3 is the most n00b friendly online FPS on the market today. That includes COD, Killzone, Unreal Tournament etc. A player skilled in any of the top FPS's can dominate in Halo, but your average Halo player will cry about lack of autoaim in games like Killzone and UT. Long story short, stick to your "assassinations", sticky nades, and autoaim and leave real tactical FPS'in to more serious games.

Sure but compared to other more tactical and serious FPS, calling that skill doesn't cut it.

Halo 3 does take alot of skill. Seriously, you think COD takes more skill than Halo??? Thats pretty funny. Im just wondering but have you actually played a decent amount of ranked games in halo 3? There is an obvious difference in skill between people who are low levels (excluding boosters) and people who are high levels. Just try playing Lone Wolves when you are at least a 45 and you will see how much skill is required to win. It is absolutely brutal. I've had a 46 in Lone Wolves for two years and I cannot for the life of me get past it. So yes, Halo 3 does take alot of skill

Halo takes a great deal of skill. Is it the most skill based game? No. Though it does take massive amounts of skill.

The fact that there are players in Halo 3 that are really good, while others suck, says yes.
