Anyone desperate enough to use cheats probably shouldn't have gotten the game in the first place. Its fun at first, but it really ruins everything after you realize you don't need to beat anything anymore. .....imo
they take the sence of playing the game out of it cause you just enter cheats to help you beat the game. Its fun to use after you've beaten the game i guess
I admit I use to use cheat codes last gen, but it started ruining the experience of beating games on my own merit. I think it was Spiderman on the Gamecube that was the last game I cheated on, haven't done it since then.
I have no problem with people using cheats after already beating a game without cheats. I think it is lame for people to use cheats to help them beat a game. And even worse is when people brag about beating a game after using cheats to help them.
i usually use cheats after i beat a game or if i couldn't beat the game with out one. there meant to enhance the game experience and to be used with great discretion.
On first playthroughs and in Multiplayer, they ruin the game completely for me, and even more so now that achievements are available, cheats usually disable achievements which bothers me even further. I want to enjoy a game to how it was made, not fly through like some ultra god that I somehow became. After beating the game I may use them for a little replayability depending on the extremety of the cheats. But for the most part I don't like them.
I have different opinions about cheats. In some cases, they make face-melting hard games playable, and in other games, they completely ruin the experience
