Erm, OK, I discovered two interesting things when I was hanging around the 'Answers' part of Yahoo. These one made me think of one particular interesting subject, or myth; that girls or women suck, or are, really bad at video games, and truly inferior to the males. The first one I saw was this one: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080725164238AAtZAQE - I mean some girls just suck so bad at video games, it stresses you out just to teach them how to use a simple X button or A button. Then when it comes to math or anything academic, they own us males and have the hard times teaching US how to multiply 2 x 2. - Apparently, this guy is very mad because he can't teach his girlfriends the buttons to play the game. Then there is another about video games: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20091130111924AAdJzSw - I played Halo 3 with a girlfriend of mine at mine yesterday evening. She said she had played it before and thought it was fun, so I thought she would be a great competition. I was wrong. She sucked big time! She didn't even know how to jump and obtain a headshot with the sniper or how to use the Spartan Laser correctly. When we went online together at a later point, she sucked even more, when she went on my Warthog and I drove, she couldn't even aim and that resulted in us getting killed, and me getting a lower rank just because her! I was really frustrated, but she just laughed. She doesn't know how serious this actually was. So, why do girls suck at games??? Is there an explanation? Are there any girls who are remotely good at video games, and can beat me at Halo 3???? - I personally think this is one retarted person or so, because he's really mad over the fact that she was not as good as him when they played over Xbox Live, lol, what a sad person. Anyway, what do you guys think of this myth? Maybe you have some girlfriends that are interested (particularly) in gaming ,and what do you think of their skills in gaming? Do you think the average male is superior to femals in gaming, and why do you think it is so, that males are more powerful than femals when it comes to gaming skills? Also, what systems do you think girls prefer? PS, Xbox, Wii? And what's the hardest platform for them to play on (I think it's PC), and what system do you think is best for femals? I for example think Wii is better than Xbox for females, since it's more girly - full of kiddy games and doesn't really contain bloody, very violent games or professionally hardcore games (halo 3, COD, Gears) that the average player (female) would have a hard time comprehending and playing without being owned all the time

Most girls I play with aren't that great, but they aren't the worst I have ever seen. Some girls can destroy most guys at video games however. My ex was not one of these people
hmm girls are really good in games from what i'v seen, there been a lot of gaming girls on ps3 lately especially on the CoD games and they do good, i happen to know a couple of gaming girls and their good but not at shooter games thats for sure :P.. at puzzle games more such as UNO, critter crunch etc.. males and females are equal to me really and both can do good and bad
