[QUOTE="funsohng"]NOOOOOOOOooooooo what are u talking about?? Japanese cant hate 360 just look at the 360 exclusives they are getting: CLANND (console)IDOLM@STERDream C ClubNew Memories Off and the list contines...ShoooryukenClannad isn't exclusive oopse it's on ps2 nvm but it's at least exclusive on this gen console
because they don't like shoddy hardware.
i mean, their cars compared to north american cars (gm, chevrolet, ford, lmao bailout ftw). that alone says something. besides, if you think North America is high-tech, think again. toilet bowls in japan are even heated, and yes, you can adjsut the temperature. beat that.

Both Clannad and MemoriesOff are ports of very old PC games though, for such games when they apear on Sony console they appear on PS2, it doesn't make sense to release them for PS3, since PS2 userbase is bigger and PS3 users can play PS2 games anyway
The funny thing is that Xbox360 was launching around the same day as To Heart 2 XRated, a port of year old PS2 dating sim with added porno scenes...and the lines of people waiting through the night for ToHeart2 XR were literaly 30 times longer than those for 360 :D
Japanese gamers are not big on shooting games like Halo and Gears... therefore the 360 doesnt appeal to them as much. Also, Final Fantasy XIII isnt even coming to 360 in Japan either.
3 of the tradionally biggest Playstation games in Japan are Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy, and MGS......... NONE OF THOSE ARE ON 360 in JAPAN
[QUOTE="David_Dweedle12"]Heated toilets? WOW ok you just won me over on that.Kashiwaba
ya they are great when you set on one you wish that you wont finish what you are doing when i was there i felt like sleeping on the toilet :P.
lol, how can you tell what it was warmed up by? I'd laugh if somebody went to use it and thought it was warmed by the heater when it was actually warmed up by a person. :lol:That's the only logical reason I can think of why Americans hate the PS3. It's nationalism! The PS3 is a better console but Americans feel like they have to support ol' Bill and his company! They hate the 360 becouse its not made in japan.
SerpentX541
and yea, they teach Math for grade schoolers through a game called Loco Roco. seriously.
also, there are building where you place your car/bike in a platform, push a few buttons and voila! the platform will go down and it will automatically park your car/bike in the parking area. and you don't have to go to your car after that, just press a few buttons again and in seconds that platfrom will bring you your car. i'd liek to see anyone top that. XD
all the tiem u c jappeneese ppl say 360 sucks.. but why? I callin out Jappeneese gamers cuz I want solid reason.David_Dweedle12
i think its quite a stupid question, its like asking do americans buy 360 more because it doesnt sell in Japan.. its just a matter of preferences, thats all.

i still say the best japanese 360 game that will never be released in the west is death smiles, man i want to play this
all the tiem u c jappeneese ppl say 360 sucks.. but why? I callin out Jappeneese gamers cuz I want solid reason.David_Dweedle12What would be there reason for hating it last gen then???? It didn't come close to outselling even the PSP....Matter of fact both 360 and Xbox 1's total sales don't match PSP sales. So I think you need to come up with a new idea....My suggestion would be look at the developers that grace 360....They are predominantly Western and cater to Western gamers needs. And the majority of us love these samely fps, tps and such constantly being served up to us. And even though 360 has attracted many more Japanese developers from last gens abysmal Japanese developers virtually non existent support......the majority of these Japanese developers are creating titles that cater to the Western audience. Simply as that.......it's the games...... As a Western gamer that sits in the more minority group, I understand how the Japanese don't want there game collection riddled with AAA shooters, and a couple of a and aa jrpg's. And as a Western gamer, I also understand we don't want our collections riddled with some of the more bizarre, totally weird gaming experiences the Japanese seem to love....like train simulators, date simulators, and school girl underwear sniffing simulators. So what I guess I'm saying is that the Japanese like more unique games, and borderline insane titles from a Westerners standpoint.....But some of these inventive, imaginative, kooky Japanese titles come off, and transcend being categorized as Eastern style games. Katamari Damacy, Ico, SOTC, Okami, and others come to mind...Not to mention the Japanese pretty much invented and perfected the 2d and 3d fighting genres.....Yet, we have bugger all fighters worth mentioning on 360 (as well as PS3). I mean, UFC is the only knew fighting IP (which is terrible when we compare from PS1 back)....then there's the usual suspects in SF, SC, DOA, VF, MK and Tekken........... And here lies a problem in itself.....These are the same games with characters we've seen thousands of times before (minus 2 or 3 new ones per sequel). We need new fighting IP's with new awesome characters...We need new moves to learn.... Surely the fighter genre has some surprises and new tricks left in it. Japanese love fighting games...so why haven't developers Western and Eastern been rolling out new fighting IP's like was evidenced in PS1 hey days...Tobal, Battle Arena, SF, Tekken, Soul Blade, Marvel v Capcom, Rival Schools United By Fate, Guilty Gear, King Of Fighters, Samurai Showdown, MK, and this is just a chunk of the good ones.... Then factor in all the games that transcend the shores of Japan, that have universal appeal. MS just does not have enough knowledge of the Japanese market....They have done well in getting a good lineup of Japanese developers on board.....but they are trying to make either universal appeal games, or western style orientated games......Instead of trying the more Japanese unique style games.

Damn, never heard of that one...But thanks to you, have now...looks awesome, and I too would love to play it...They should release that game on PSN store if it can't get a 360 release locally. Awesome, bit like Einhander and Forgotten Worlds love child.I think it will just take them time to accept the Xbox brand and they will, maybe not this gen, but I think they will eventually. MS just have to keep working with their gaming industry.
I don't think the PS3 without the PS brand would be doing that well either.
I think it has nothing to do with hardware, probably just branding. I mean the PS3 hardly had to fight for dev supprt there.
This gen Xbox has achieved a lot in terms of gaining support. So whether they win the gen or not, they have done well in other areas. The catch 22 is, they couldn't have done it without rushing the console out a year early. Next gen they won't need the year advantage as much so I don't expect them to release their next console any earlier than Sony will.
