Do Lemmings SERIOUSLY expect HALO 3....

To Look graphically mind blowing by the time its released..compared to what we have seen so far???

 You can't be serious, YES its alpha..but its basically what the game will be like...few graphical touch up will be added, but nothing like what you lemmings claim. Theres Never really a HUGE difference between alpha and the final. Judghing by the vids you can obviouslly see some improvements like Lighting, Crisper models, bigger worlds..etc etc Just don't expect Mind blowing improvements. You lemmings make it seem Halo 3 has another 2 years in Dev...it doesn't.

sp graphics will be awesome. mp graphics will be better. but we know most mp graphics arent as good as the sp are. an exception to that rule is gears. but a point that sp looks better then mp is r6v.xbox360isgr8t

Maybe you should pay closer attention. Lemmings are hyping Halo 3 for the games experience. I've never seen a thread hyping the games graphics or graphics engine or anything graphics related. I HAVE however seen many threads talking about how great and how fun the game will be based on their previous experiences with Halo 2.

Yeah, they must have paid off all those journalists who said the trailer footage could be manipulated by a controller and was in fact being rendered in real time.  Then they changed the date at the end of the vidDoc to 2006 so everyone would think that it was old footage.  Actually, they never really had an alpha version, the footage they showed is in fact the game that will be released, the Beta won't even look as good as the VidDoc footage...

Is that what you wanted to hear?  Seriously, unless you are prepared to accept massive ownage on May 15th and Even more 4 months later, you should probably just give up.

It WAS NOT released as a target render. There was even a Sony exec who said it was real-time..

Doesn't anyone find it funny that Bungie show a insane looking Trailer at E3 of halo 3 that is realtime and even go as far as stating its what Halo 3 will look like...but afterwards, gameplay footage is shown and looks nothing like it. None of the footage we've seen is representative of what the game currently looks like, everything we've seen so far is old footage meant to do nothing but tease us and get us hyped up for the game. When the beta is released next month, we'll get a real taste of what Halo 3 will look like.

Go read the Halo news article right on the GS page. Bungie says right in it that not only is either vidoc nowhere close to the graphics that will be in the final build, but even the beta (which they said looks signifigantly better than the vidocs) won't be up to par with the final version. Halo 3 is MS's premier title for the 360, it will look better than Gears.pundog

The graphics will look fine, but it wont look as good as GEOW of course.  Bungie wouldn't realease a crappy looking game, but it certainly wont be the best Xbox 360 can offer.  SimpJee

As long as the gameplay is up to snuff, and the graphics are better then Perfect Dark Zero, then it should be a great playing/looking game. I don't care if the graphics can't touch Crysis, I have a gaming PC for that, just as long as it looks like a nextgen game and not Halo 2 at a higher resolution.coolviper2003

You can't compare that game to crysis. Basically it's the same looking game from the xbox but a more crisper, shinier and better visual effects like the shield and the water. The ground still looks blurry as a ever. Hopefully they will go with 32-64 players.
