Do people really think the PS3 wont finish number 1 in sales? Are you serious?

1. C'mon people its the PS3. This is the sequel to the PS1 and PS2 which both sold over a hundred millions.

2. The Wii is a fad

3. The PS3 drops to magic 299 and its game over for the Wii

4. 360 barely even counts. Its the cheapest console, yet PS3 is still blowing it away in yearly sales.

I hope after considering all of these facts its obvious who wins this console war.

I can't see it dropping in price again until the end of the generation when Blue Ray technology is more affordable. It will be lucky to beat the XBOX, but will never take down the mighty Wii juggernaut! muhahahaha.

ANY Consoles sales would go down if it hasnt got a big release since March of 2008. The whole lot of people who bought Wii Fit woud tell you it's no a fad...and the whole bunch of people who bought Wii Sports Resort in Japan will tell you the same thing.

Yes, Atl least I serious. The PS3 can considure itself luck If the PS2 doesn't kick it's ass this generation. I herd some one say that the PS3 is next gen so maybe in 5 years it may be closer to being number 1.

I never really asked you to give your opinion on the NA market. Even so that was a weak attempt at a come back. More than just FPSs are sold in NA unless you are blind to only seeing FPSs on the list. I don't even think there was an FPS last month :|

I knew you wouldn't answer. Its a hard thing to swallow when you are factually proven wrong. Americans buy lots of different games nott just FPSs. The thought that thatis all they buy is absolutely ridiculous. Though if you don't know how to count, how would you even know that FPSs is all Americans buy? Its not like you could read the numbers or what they meant?

The magic number is $200, regardless if they end up in 1st 2nd or 3rd....I know one things for certain....they are going to sell over a 100million systems, i mean their selling 10million a year with its high price, 10years on the market...possibly even longer considering what sony said about the PS2 they will keep it on the market as long as people are buying itTrue-Legend86

Dude, I'm a big Sony supporter, and even I know they need a big turnaround to even get second. But hey, as long as i get my AAAAE's.... :P

Even if Nintendo did not sell another Wii form this day forth, I really doubt PS3 could over take it before the next gen starts.

The PS3 is the only console I care to own this gen, but I am not blind fool. The PS3 will not finish in first in sales. But what I care about are the games. It could finish first in that department, but only time will tell. I just don't see it passing the Wii in sales. It could, but I don't see it happening.

here is the flaw in that theory:

1) Sony has stated it isn't coming anytime soon (will accept they may have been bluffing though)

2) The other consoles would still be CHEAPER
