Do sales help fill the void of actual games?

Does the fact that ps4 is selling so well help cows feel better about not having any decent exclusives to play? I mean in the first 2 years xbox one has actual quality exclusives to play. Seems like cows just go "oh well atleast we sold 25 mill consoles". I have a feeling it will be like game of thrones and cows will have to wait 5-6 years for winter to finally come.

That's not the kind of "sales" I thought you meant, when you're looking for something to play then you see a weekly DwG deal like "oh damn, Dark Souls Scholar's of First Sin selling for $15, a $25 savings on a $40 game, and I wanted to play it but was waiting for a good deal, now I have no excuse but to get it. That's the kind of sales that help pad my library out with games, games that I might have otherwise ignored at normal prices. Titanfall for $5. Game of Thrones was accidentally listed for $5 for entire reason, something similar with Lords of the Fallen, they pulled the bad listing down immediately but honor anybody who purchased it at those prices. I'm a sale vulture for sure.

The sales reinforce their bad decision. It is one big support group designed to coddle each other.

Cos the Xbone is doing so much better? Both consoles have been struggling in the exclusive department, but the PS4 has more games than the Xbone.

It's not a bad platform if you play multiplats on it.

However, if you already play multiplats on PC consoles are pretty much only good at collecting dust the vast majority of time this gen.

PS2 era: LOTS of exclusives. Sales.

PS3 era: SOME exclusives. MORE sales.

PS4 era: FEW exclusives. SUPER sales!

It's a real trend, on both platforms.

PS5 era: NO exclusives. Saves global economy.

PS4 got the most exclusive as of now by a landslide.

And at this time of year there are so many great tasting pies.
