They've set the date specifically, and Kojima said the game was basically done. Plus I've pre-ordered the game. Pretty hard to delay the game. I can only name one game that was delayed after pre-orders.

About 6 months ago Kojima said it could have been realeased that day. Sense then its nothing but filler and polishing. They are making the game slow and steady and I like it that way.
yes, Nintendo Power will have a hand-ons preview with the game Next issue... So likely I'm sure GS and other sources will be playing the game hand-ons very soon.
The game practically looks done, I think Sakurai-san is just making sure it's perfect now and having some fun time to implement lots into the game that make nice touches for this type of game...

They made a big deal about it coming out on December 3, 2007, so I don't think they'll have the balls to tell everyone that they want to make some changes to improve the game play. I'm typically the guy that can wait out these things, because I know it'll be better in the long run, but I want to play it now!
If you've been watching the updates its apparent that the game is practically finished if not completely finished. I bet if they have anything left to do it either has to do with online, or minor tweaking/balancing.

There are so many updates on this game it looks like they put tons of work into it. I doubt it will get delayed. Kojima said it looked finished many months ago.

...And looked what happened! I'm kind of surprised he said that, and then delayed it. Just thought I'd show everyone this thread. What are the chances of a guy making a thread asking if Brawl would get delayed two days before it actually does?
