oh PC where possible. i prefer the controls, the games at least run smoother and, in the case of GTA4, also look better. that and the game is also cheaper :). the exception being a POP game.osan0
why POP game?

i dont really know. i know i can hook up a controller to a PC of course but for POP...it just doesnt feel right on the PC for some reason. its definately a game built for consoles (thats not a pop at consoles...i love POP games). for the other games you mention like AC and GTA i prefer the keyboard and mouse. thats probably the biggest reason why i choose the PC version (and there 10-15 quid cheaper..also helps). but theres just something about POP that makes it more suitable for consoles imho. i cant put my finger on it.Just Cause 2 says otherwise. Not only is it well optimized, but it's a native DX10 game with much superior graphics than the console version, and some mods too.Well lately sandbox games aren't optimized very well for PC so if I did buy any it would prob be for PS3.

Sandbox games are, after all, video games, which - unless they're crappy ports - follow the basic rule of "every aspect of it is superior on the PC than on the consoles due to laxed hardware limitations".
So, yes, I'd prefer playing Sandbox games on my PC.... as long as the porting team put effort into their work.
I don't really have the PC to run these games, plus I prefer my couch to my desk.sam_nintendocouch + pc = win. best of both worlds.
well the fact gta4 runs better on a 3 year old pc says otherwise. When they complain about games not running well they mean it doesn't run well on their console spec system which is pointless in pc terms. decent 512mb gpu and quad core cpu gta4 runs much much better on pc.Well lately sandbox games aren't optimized very well for PC so if I did buy any it would prob be for PS3.

I just love this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2T9w6AG20LcOpen world games + Mods = unlimited amount of fun. Who would get bored of flying around liberty city as Superman, or doing drive bys as Super Mario. :P

Sandbox games on my ps3 of course :) I reckon the dualshock 3 is better when it comes down to driving :P

Damn right.
I use the PC for two reasons - 1, KB+M with decent visuals; 2, I don't own a PS3 or Xbox :P

Yea, but GTA IV mods are a pain to set up :D Took me hours.I play on both. Lately the PC version has been coming out later so I get the console version first and if I really like it I'll get the PC version. If the PC version comes out at the same time and doesn't have ridiculous DRM, I'll get the PC version no question.
Console mostly. Assassin's Creed and GTA IV were both better with a controller. Prototype was just bad across all platforms, and I haven't played PoP.
I don't really know why, but I've always felt GTA wasn't meant for the PC. It just didn't feel right, and for the last gen GTA trilogy (III, Vice City, and Sandreas), all of which I played on all platforms (PC, Xbox, PS2), I have always prefered the Xbox versions by quite a stretch. It's more because I'm not too big on PC gaming anyway.
For Grand Theft Auto I play only on a Playstation controller, I cannot stand any other controller for that game. Beauty of a Gaming PC is I can use any kind of Controller I want :P
However, it's going to be at least until the end of this summer until I can get myself a gaming Rig.
