Exactly. I don't think all "white" people are strictly pale white either, i'd say i don't know that many pitch black or pale white people :| inter-racial relationships FTW.

Anyway i have a faceplate on my 360 and that's the only part you can see of it :)

I don't walk up to my console after eating food and then rub my hands all over it...

And black are much worse especially in handhelds, the DS original had the best colours, silver doesn't show marks or dust and the black plastic buttons means that they don't get finger stains on them. My PSP slim is lovely and shiny black, except that you can see every spec of dust on it.

I dont know why but they irk me....the brightness of it fades into a dirty white over time...it gets dirty easily..and its just really annoyin to me for some reason...like my ds l and r button had got dirty over time and didnt even match the actual ds anymore...and cleaning the buttons didnt seem to do anything,,:xCaramel_Fantasy

PS3 looks lurvely, put next to a ceramic white 360 it looks rather plain, the green halo 3 edition looks much much nicer.

It's better than having a sleek shiney black console which dust can be seen all over within the second day. Anything with that shiney coat on it gets messed up pretty easily though. 360 stays nice and clean. :D-Wheels-

Yeah but take a lint free cloth and wipe it down once and it looks really sharp.

It's not so much that "white consoles" bother me--it's just that.....well... they simply can't sastify my needs anymore...not like a black console can.....and if my needs aren't sastified, then why should I fake being happy having with them?....I love "black consoles". Especially ones with .... BIG!... 120gb hardrives which just screams store me up baby!.....settling for streaming just isn't working out for me anymore.

But seriously, I really do prefer black consoles. I just can't seem to keep a white one clean and the color black pretty much matches any other color you might have around your house better then a white one would. But it doesn't matter all that much either way.

The white reminds me of the Mac which gives an appearance of professionalism. I haven't noticed it changing color (white to off-white or beige) & it's really easy to see any dust gathering & wipe it off. Black units don't look very interesting especially if you are trying to take a photo of it. Such as this one:

What are you getting on your console that makes it dirty?? Dust is the only thing I ever see & that's easily wiped. I see more dust on my black equipment than metal gray or the white Xbox colored components.

Ugh!..Numerous things actually--from hard to clean cup stains, since we have a bad habit of setting our drinks on top of every electronic thingy my mommy has in our house(sometimes causing spills)--to other things that usally have some type of filth around it from everybody else(TV remote, Xbox 360 controller itself, bowls, plates, ect ect). It doesnt help that we have a baby running around doing whatever she damn well pleases--so anything thats white will be a victim of some kinda stain for me--especially new shoes! White is just to annoying too deal with sometimes.
