um...yeah i think i'll hold onto the first time i played with a wiimote for a long time to come, not to mention finaly learning perfection of platforming and fighting that is galaxy and brawl respectivly
hmm last memorable game ive played would be MGS3 and then FF9. Hopefully MGS4 is something ill remember long after ive finished the game. Other than that im hoping to get LO for 360 soon.
You're asking 2 different questions. The Darkness is something I think I'll remember for years because of it's story and the way it evoked so many emotions out of me.
Definitely, that's what I refuse to play generic games with bad stories. I love it when a game leaves a lasting impact on me. Games like Super Mario 64, OoT, Half Life, Killer 7, and Shadow of the Collossus did that for me in the past. So far for this gen though, it's been pretty low in terms of memories. Other than the perfection known as Super Mario Galaxy and the complete mind f*** that is known as No More Heroes, there haven't been too many memorable games.
You can probably imagine the things that excited you most about a game (or anything you've experienced for an extended time) and replay it back in your mind. Typically these are small sequences occuring over time that lit and impressed on my brain up and I can indeed play it again / sense faintly it in my head. I think the brain is limited so it naturally lets go of the aged experience to free up. Or maybe I misunderstood the original question... yes I have lots of small memories from each of the games I played where I can imagine playing it... I'm up to date to a point so I can ascertain what it would be like to play it from footage, images, word of mouth etc.
