I never do. I almost always get really distracted and go screw around.

Depends what you mean by finish ...
I finished oblivions Main quest ... It was like 2 hours long though.
I finished inFamous's main quest twice, and took back my City.
Fallout ... I made some water clean then discarded the game into the pile of no return.
GTA,I got the second safe house then realised the game was terrible.
Prototype, iIdid the first couple missions, realised it was beyond terrible and discarded it.
Can't think of any others, but the as you can see, i rarely get anywhere in them. I'm a very lazy gamer.
I finished every single Open world games with their side missions, with the exception of Fallout or the Elder scrolls series by not finding the side missions. Unless the side missions are hard and does not compile with the trophies then I can say screw it
Well it takes me awhile lol. I have quite a few and I usually tend to finish my games.
Usually, Yes. Small List: Prototype (Loved this game), GTAIV (Ditto), Crysis (destroyed this and Warhead), inFamous (amazing game), Crackdown (amazing as well), Dead Rising (amazing), Fallout 3 (Loved it), Mercenaries 2, etc.
I'm currently working on The Saboteur on PS3, Just Cause 2, and Way of the Samurai 3.
It will be a pain to finish but I'll complete inFAMOUS and Red Faction: Guerrilla...someday. They're so long, though. :(
Nope, granted I haven't played 99% of them.
Only open world game I believe I've completed was GTA Vice City, but to hell with the dual shock, and to hell with the terrible graphics in that game. I wish I had an Xbox, and played it on that instead, or maybe even had gotten it for my PC. I'll never complete Vice City though.
I'm more of a start to finish kinda guy, and if I happen to have taken the fastest route to get to the end then so be it. I don't really care to do stuff that'll never result in the end credits for the most part, but it might just be because I've never played a game I thought was good enough to warrant it.
Ugh, I detest them. I feel completely lost, and I also hate the 30-page long quest list (this on RPGs). As for games like GTA, their stories suck and doing the missions are boring, the only fun part of it is discovering the easter eggs and spawning a helicopter and jumping from the max height.
I use to not finish them. Now I can't stand not finishing the story line in a game. It happened around the time I finally got Fallout 3. I stopped playing it after a bit, but a month later, I put it in just to try it again, and I couldn't stop playing. Since then, I've played and finished (not including side missions) GTA IV plus the two episodes as well as inFamous. I'm really looking forward to RDR also. I think it's because I've come to appreciate storylines even more than I use to.
I try to finish all my games no matter what genre. My problem is I own to many games so finishing some such as InFamous gets delayed.
Usually, though it took me years to get around to beating San Andreas.
The actual storyline is ****ing huge, and there is much more to do on the side than in GTA4; it was pretty easy to get distracted.
I also haven't finished Just Cause 2 yet because I'm having too much fun just screwing around.
haven't completed not 1 open world game, but I hope that all change when I get fallout 3 next week. I do wanna play Infamous and realtically I can see my self beating RDR just because the whole wild west thing looks pretty easy.
BTW does WoW count? once you get to the highest lvl?
