Do you get embarrassed when someone asks you if you game?

I sorta do, because its somewhat nerdy i know a lot of people who lie and say no although they play 24/7. you?

Yes... a lot of people in my school game. If someone asks me that and I say yes, I usually get the reply "cool me too"

No. In fact when someone talks about careers I'm the first one to open my mouth and say I want to be a video game programmer. I like getting into conversations with people with games and (altough the conversation of games comes up once in a blue moon) it's fun. I hate it when people think that girls only like and play wii games (which is kinda weird cause I only have a wii :P) but love it when i come in a conversation and know more about it then they do. It feel GRRRRRRRRREEEAAT!

I rarely get embarrassed at all. Why would I be embarrassed of gaming? It's an activity like any other and if you have a proper self-image you shouldn't even bother thinking what other people will think of you if you play video games.

haha in fact i do say i play games but in terms of my degree, computer sciences for games, i conveniently forget to mention the games part... not exactly to tout when meeting people for the first time

no way, over the years gaming has turned into an adult thing. even my coworker who's 20 and a chick games when she gets free time between work and school. she likes shooting stuff, sweet eh?

The only time I get this question is when im selling one or buying a game in-stores. More often then not, I say no to save myself the time and sometimes the entertaining playful harassment which has nothing to do with being a gamer as much as being one with the "girl" at the end. But I can't imagine anyone asking me unless they're into gaming as well anyways(who isn't nowadays?)--it's not even that serious to me. Who cares, **** what somebody thinks.
