Do You Get Insecure At Times Playing As Big Muscle Men?

I was playing resident evil 6 and I couldn't help but think 'maybe I should start working out'. I felt skinny and effeminate compared to all the manly men I was playing as. it doesn't help that capcom gave them all huge bulges in their pants too :evil:

these games with their idealized men are damaging to the psyche of young boys because they set impossible standards to live up to

This is why I play JRPGs, so that instead of feeling pathetic in comparison to all the muscly men, I can scoff at the wimpy, whiny JRPG protagonists and reassure myself that atleast i'm not THAT much of a pusscake.

Videogames are cool because you get to pretend to be someone or something you're not. I love playing Gears and pretending I'm super macho and have huge muscles. I also like playing Tomb Raider 1 and pretending I have massive triangle shaped teets.
