as A Ps3 owner I can say that the Ps3 only really had one way to go from crap and thats up. So in this regaurd I agree with you. Um that Its going to get better than the 360? Not so much. But I do think It will get as good but that will not be for AT LEAST 2 years. And some of us want to play good games now. For these people i say get a 360/wii now and this time next year get a Ps3.

i agree its getting better and that it will have some good titles in 2008

but it will never have the quanity of quality exclusive games that the 360 has to offer

Is it enough for the PS3 to be inching along or merely getting better? When will the unparalleled gaming experience that was promised over a year ago actually arrive? That's how Sony billed it. That was the pretext under which we bought it. We are still waiting for an experience that is so empirically superior to the competition that we know we weren't mislead. It's been a year and there is still no shock and awe. Nonetheless, there are pages of declarations on these message boards of an outstanding 2008 as though it's already in the bag. I guess we have learned nothing from the past 12 months. Sony and its touters need to stop parroting what they're going to do and actually deliver on their promise. Until then it's smoke and mirrors.

Since it has no RPG's for 2008 or some real games, like adventurs/RPG's etc, it is the worst lineup ever for me, worst than 2007 that had Folklore at least !!!

And of course not, i do not agree, 360 in 2008 is like TRILLIONS of time better in games than PS3 shooters, it has 20 games i want and PS3 has 1-2 max, IF i buy them in the end

2. Dont know really, for me I think its better, with all the shooters coming out, though I might get some 360 games.

3. I think the ps3 might come ahead, but at the nearest it will be towards the very end of 08, at the christmas holidays.

I dont think, if you already have a 360, there is any reason to rush out and buy a PS3 just yet. However, if you dont already have either and you are looking to get a HD console, the decision is nowhere near as clear-cut as it used to be. The 360 still has the stronget library, thats a given, but as machines go, the PS3 is better value for money out of the box. A lot of people, not just PS3 owners, are anticipating at least one PS3 exclusive release next year. Of course, there is no guarantee of it not being the flop-fest it was this year, but it has an awful lot more potential right now than people give it credit for. On top of that, with the exception of orange box, most recent multiplats have been on par with the 360 versions, and there are plenty of murmurings amongst editors of magazines of PS3 versions of games being slightly better.

I dont think we'll see the overtaking of the xbox 360 for a while, but if you dont see how much the PS3 has grown in the past year as a viable machine to have, you really are living in your own little world.

That is completely subjective, and until LBP/Heavy Rain get nailed down to a release window, I will say for me, 360 is more interesting in 2008.

Again, completely subjective, but for the PS3 to be better than the 360 to me, it needs tons more great games, and I don't see that happening in the near future. It is just too far behind in terms of library to top 360 in 2008, maybe longer. But it is a great system regardless of comparisons.
