In that case AMD. I don't care about consoles but for hardware for my PC I prefer AMD processors and am starting to warm up to ATI video cards. I have preferred Tagan power supplies and OCZ RAM. You may have meant consoles, but oh well.
Uh, I like my 360 most as of now, but that doesn't mean I'm loyal to Microsoft. Smart company, with a great gaming brand. But, I don't particularly care for anything else they make. Other than uh windows.
Definitely not Sony, they nickel and dime the hell out of you. Broken promises and crappy games is generally what you get from them. They try to treat the PS3 like a home theatre system rather than a gaming console. That is their own failure. They remind me of Apple now, arrogance for their "superior products".
Nintendo, I've really never been "loyal" to them ever. I had a NES, a SNES, N64, and Gamecube. I have no true gut interest in the Wii.
Yeah. I would say im pretty loyal to Nintendo. I will always buy a Nintendo console before any other brand console. Now im not saying i wont own the other consoles. I have a PS3 Wii and 360.
So i guess i would say im loyal to Nintendo considering to me, they will always come first.
i love nintendo .. their big games are always top quality .. zelda, metroid, mario etc
they've gone a bit casual with the wii but still released zelda TP, MP3, SMG and SSBB .. they still cater to the traditional gamer, and i'm sure we'll see similar titles at E3
I can't believe anyone has this mentality at all. These are consumer products we're talking about here, not countries.
This seems to be the primary root of why fanboys hate on other systems and the games on them. I have repeatedly fought against this sort of idealogy, taking the stance that none of the companies deserve your loyalty, only your business if they deliver what you want. But the way fanboys take their loyalty to their chosen platform is absurd, to the point where they MUST bash any game on the competing platform simply because it is on that other system, regarding that as "the enemy state".
Last time I checked, when you're at the store check out, you aren't required to sign a contract to finalize the purchase, aren't asked to take a "pledge of allegiance to platformX" before being given the product. The companies didn't just give you their items out of good will, they took your money for you to have them. It was just a business transaction, which leaves you free to leave it if something better comes along which has better earned your hard earned dollar. I will say again, these are consumer products, not countries, but wow the way fanboys treat their boxes, and more importantly the other boxes, you would think that's how they do see it. Just beyond absurd :|Well yes, I have brand loyalty.
I love Apple, specially their iPods and their MBPs.
I love Microsoft for many things. Xbox 360, Windows Vista (yes, I like it MUCH better than XP so what?) Those are just a few things.
I love Sony for a lot of things, too. Their laptops are pretty decent and fairly priced. (I'm using one right now actually haha) I also love their Bravia TVs. Man, those things are beauties. I also like the Playstation brand, although I won't pay what they're asking for the PS3. When it lowers, I'll most likely get it.
I love Intel. I just do. They make the best processors out there, although their integrated graphics chipsets stink big time.
Good times, good times.

Not really. I mean Capcom is my favorite dev but I won't even buy 10 percent of what they release if I could.I've consistently been a supporter of Nintendo because they consistently put out the kinds of games that I've always liked.
Not that I'm a blind fanboy or anything--I probably wouldn't have ended up with a DS at all if my brother didn't want one, and in all the years we've had one, I've only really put time into Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros. I'm just not big on handheld gaming in general.
But overall, as long as Nintendo keeps making the games I like, I'll keep buying them.
Hardware-vise? No. As a PC gamer I'll just get the best bang for the buck product at that moment, I have Ati videocard and Intel CPU, before that I had AMD CPU and Nvidia videocard. And I've never been fanboyish about my consoles.
Software-vise? Yes. Atm Stardock and Bioware have good rep in my book.
Absolutely not. As soon as something better comes along hardware-wise I jump ship. If hardware manufacturers want loyalty they need to keep making a better, more cost effective product then their competitors.
Now software wise, that's another story. I will pretty much buy anything from Bioware, Blizzard and Relic no questions asked as their titles are simply the best in their genres.
Not really. I love my 360 and Wii, and game on my PC. I guess im loyal to the PC, 360 and Wii. PS3 though, it can go die in a ditch somewhere.NiTiZ
LOL! He should probably rephrase the question to: which brand do you hate the most?
I have brand loyalty to Bioware & Obsidian Games. ID Software has produced some crummy games for the past 8-9 years so my loyalty to them has dropped ever since Quake III came out.
i had a strong loyalty towards nintendo up to this gen. i don't like the wii with its (IMO, i am exxagerating here to make my point) rehashed mario games and last gen ports, graphics, and online. also waggle is severely limiting MANY games while only opening up options for a few.
