Do you invest in Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Nvidia, ATI, etc?

With the amount of sale talk that happens in SW, it makes me wonder what the big deal is here with sales. Yes, sales figures can be used to help support a point, however it seems like 90% of the arguments about sales, don't have one.

Why is that?

I invest in ATi.

I don't like investing in media conglomerates though.

The thing is, if we are talking about sales, the Wii will win, and that is despicable for everyone who supports the 360 or PS3.

It's stupid.

Whenever people bring up sales, it's always a last resort when they don't have anything else to complain about.

OT: I love squats, only exercise I like while working out.

Unfortunately, I think I have yet to "invest" in Sony since I bought my PS3 for several hundred dollars under cost and I've bought just under a half dozen Sony-published games....I might be close. Warhawk, Resistance 1 & 2, Uncharted 2, Ratchet... Agghhh so close to getting money from me, Sony.

I've got some Microsoft stock, but it was bought years ago.

As far as sales go, sales count. I mean games like Wii Sports that come with the systems shouldn't count but games sales is an indication of how good a game is. If it sucked people wouldn't buy it.

Ok well I guess that doesn't always work with Wii games since I'm sure some of the Petz games, and Barbie's Horse ride have sold quite well :D

As far as PS3/360 games go though I think it counts.

Once I can afford it, I'm buy a stock or two in Sony.

i mean the average consumer does not benefit from the company making money?

So, a little difference in sales (which is bound to happen), does not affect the outcome of the enjoyment a person has.


IMO it should be all about the games/

I support those companies

I like it when people buy their products, and keep their businesses afloat. You have a problem with me talking about sales?
