I don't necessarily, unless a publisher angered me enough to justify a boycott. So far, I have only Ubisoft on my blacklist, mostly for DRM issues.

No doing so is extremly pointless. If I like a game ill buy it, even if the publishers have a history of being jerks with other games.
No I think that's retarded. jg4xchamp
Why not? Some publishers do deserve to be blacklisted.
But, the problem is that while people make a lot of noise about boycotts, I have never seen boycotts succeeding where video games are concerned.
No, but the elitisim in gaming is getting out of control. If I want to play a game I hardly care who publishes it.

If I want something. I buy it. If I don't want something. I don't buy it. It's a very simple concept. If companies do something with DLC or some move I'm not a fan of then chances are I'll just throw it on to the long list of rentals. What's that can't play online mp now if you rent games? k don't give a f*ck.[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"]No I think that's retarded. The_Capitalist

They never succeed for the simple fact that no one cares because all these "problems" are blown out of proportion. Only the very nerdiest of nerds care about always on DRM, DLC, and whether or not something has dedicated servers. It's the epitome of first world problems.EA,Origin was enough to put me off Battlefield 3. A game I wanted for years.
I don't take to the streets though, as shown in the MW2 boycott gamers are too spineless to do so.
there is only one publisher I have blacklisted completely, that Being Ubisoft, due to DRM issues, the way they talk and treat platforms, and audience, aswell as the "procedual" nature of alot of thier games. It is not exactly like I hate them, I am just tired of broken DRM, lack of support, and bad implementation in games.
Then there are a few devs where I will not buy games new. Those Being EA and activision, EA due to the DLC mayhem they cause, it is not like I have anything against them, but I just dislike buying the game, and then have a constant bombardment of DLC the next year, its easier to just wait a year, and get everything at once.
Activision I refuse to buy games new from, partly due to the way they keep stripping away the freedom that players used to have, offering an essential closed platform within thier games, and they also have some halfarsed DLC ideas. I do not dislike them enough to blacklist them, but I wont buy at launch.
Nearly all other Pubs I try to support however I may, 2K, THQ, SE, and alot of the smaller Publishers I buy games from at launch often preordering. I generally dislike to see the little ones crumble >.< Kinda odd way of doing things I know, I sort of belive in the "vote with your wallet" altho reality has shown us that a shiney ad campaign will have millions buy the games, so in reality its fairly pointless, so just my own morals I suppose ^^
Kinda... more like i lose my trust in the product. As of now I don't trust Capcom at all... I was gonna pre-order dragon's dogma but after that whole sf vs tekken with the dlc's and then azura's wrath with dlc... i think DLC is all they care about at all. So I just can't buy anything from them anymore unless a ton of people say it's worth it and i've read through enough things to justify the purchase.. if not wait for price drop or a sale.
well atleast you're being honestNo, I'm too fat and lazy for that silliness.

i dont think i would boycott a publisher. mostly because they have games i want to pla
Nope. If I like a game enough, I buy it. If I don't like it enough then I don't buy it. Simple. That's it. I couldn't care less if the developer made a pact with the devil.
Whoa, teach me how to be as cool as you bro.Well, I have bought every DMC game twice but that DMC reboot can go to hell. And if I get it for free or as a gift I would break the disc and spit on it. ;)

I would never have considered it until recently....But through the years playing from the earliest beginnings of Bioware's catalogue--which were and remain my favorite experiences in gaming---to now seeing what they've become.....geeze...
To think of the epicness and engrossment and complexity bioware of old could of created in their games w/ their current budget....-sigh-
I'm almost at the point of caring enough to not support EA ever again.
