Well I guess I'm not much of a gamer then because I can't stand playing on a handheld & looking at their tiny little screens. I do enough gaming on Xbox 360, PS3, & PC anyways.[QUOTE="dontshackzmii"][QUOTE="shawn7324"] What if your a gamer, but don't like handhelds then should you still have a DS?nintendoboy16

Yeah I know Fallout, Fallout 2, The Witcher, Dragon Age Origins, Ceville, Total War, Age Of Empires, etc. etc. etc. (neverending etc.) are all just shiny FPS games.Well I guess I'm not much of a gamer then because I can't stand playing on a handheld & looking at their tiny little screens. get ds xl
of course I will, prob not day 1 as I have other DS games I still need to finicsh (well Re finish actually but you get my point :P) so ILl prob wait till after xmas or something
No. I much prefer the console Zelda's. I can hardly stand playing Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission on the GBA/DS, which are much more conducive to that kind of play styIe. I'm also not that big a fan of the Wind Waker artstyIe.
I'm playing Ocarina of Time right now and having a blast. I don't know why I ever had a negative opinion about the game, but whatever, I'm enjoying it now. Majora's Mask is next on the list (depending on if I finish OoT before ACII comes out). Then if I feel up to it, I'll play Wind Waker all the way through.
It looks like it might be another solid Zelda game... but from what I've heard about Phantom Hourglass being short and repetitive, I doubt it will be on par with the likes of ALttP and OoT (and probably MM, but I haven't played it yet, so can't have an opinion on it).
Yes, I already pre-ordered the game at Amazon.com. It would be the first Zelda game I played since "A Link to the Past" on the SNES more than fifteen years ago, as I decided to regain my interest in the franchise.

Majoras Mask is probably my favorite Zelda game. Don't just play the main quest, the side quests are fantastic as well.
And PH was great, but it was too short and puzzles were pretty meh.
I didn't care for Spirit Tracks until I saw the newest trailer. Now i'm pretty hyped for it.

Wow a 4.2 inch screen, that is going to make such a huge difference. LOL.If they don't screw this up like TP, yeah.nintendoboy16*frowns* I loved Twlight Princess. Anyways I will certainly be getting this game. My DS has - litterally - been collecting dust recently so it'll be nice to dust it off and enjoy some Zelda awesomeness. Here's hoping they don't have those awfull timed levels (phantom hourglass) and that traveling by train is more fun than it sounds!
possibly. currently NSMBwii, MW2, L4D2, and mario and luigi, BiS, are above it on my list of games to acquire an play. i've never been a huge zelda fan, so chances are i'll keep buying other games and never get around to it.
[QUOTE="-Oath"]Yea, but Zelda's dead and will be fighting alongside Link. Doesn't that sound a tad bit interesting?Im a huge Zelda fan but I hate the story for this game. You just graduated from train mechanic school and you cunduct a train around Hyrule... dear god.
WAIW
It does sound interesting... but UNG, the mechanic and train story just sounds so crap. It almost destroys the whole experience for me.
Ill probably whind up getting the game anyway though.
Absolutely, I been waiting for a Zelda game for awhile now since The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass came out back on Oct 1, 2007. I wasn't expecting much with The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks when it was first announced, but after seeing various trailer I am very hype for this latest installment.
Hell yes... The latest trailer made my even more hyped.
Btw, those users posting they hate handhelds.... Lol sheesh. Missing out on a lot.
Yeah, I know. Think about it, rejecting the DS, which has the greatest library this gen.Pre-order? Who pre-orders DS games? I'm not sure where you live but DS games are not exactly midnight launch hotstuff anywhere I've heard of.
It looks very stupid but its Zelda, I'm sure it'll surprise everyone and get AAA like always :)
Although I bought Phantom Hourglass and didn't really like it, I just feel obliged to buy every Zelda game.
