Inverted, always for me. In FPS or in Flight games like Crimson Skies.
It's Three-Dimensional thinking. Like flying an airplane. A pilot pulls up by pulling down the control stick. Pushing up, when descending to land.

You do know what a Wii is don't you?

actually, you point. you dont aim. you point. you aim when you look down your sights in COD4, you point at the space pirates in MP3. If you have a Wii, you point.

When you go to the range and you fire off a few rounds, where do you POINT the gun? Let me help you out... You POINT the gun right where you AIM.
If you consider using a joystick more similiar to "aiming" than using a wiimote then who is the one who deserves pity here?!
not inverted is for chumps and people who don't play games that often and for my friends who suckkrunkfu2
And people who use proper grammar?

you, for getting so worked up over it. and i wasnt comparing to real life. i was comparing to the feel to playing a video game. i FEEL like im pointing more than im aiming when i play my Wii. wheres on sticks i FEEL more like im aiming. calm down.
Inverted only... back in the day when I used a joystick, you had to go up to look down, and it stuck.donalbane
I used to play flight sims with joysticks and of course you have to pull back to climb and push forward to dive. WhenI finally figured out that mouse + keboard was the best way to play (quake was my first game to do this) it was only naturall to go inverted.

I FEEL like you are missing the POINT!
yes, like a pilot joystick. press forward to go downwards and pull up to go upwards.
you can get use to both, but inverted is the most logicall way.
Inverted 8)
I started like that because of my love for flying games. only time I don't play an FPS inverted is on PC.

I'm sorry that your lack of knowledge of the english language has left you forced to clarify the differences of two systems by using synonyms (I'll let you look that one up for yourself). The fact that you're trying to split the atom in order to find some advantage to using hardware from TWO GENERATIONS AGO is laughable.
[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"]I get confused by inverted aiming.Brutal_Elitegs
Ditto. When I want to look up I expect to press up.
Now see, the connection I make is essentially stick = neck. So when I want to look up, it makes more sense for me to tilt it back. When I look down, it makes more sense to tilt forward.

... with a giant reticle and lock on...
Please research the howitzer as well as laser guided missles.
Also, read the review of RE:4, Metroid Prime 3, and the available information on Medal of Honor Heroes 2...
Until then, enjoy your joystick...
