Yes, just imagine your head as the thumbstick: you incline your head forward to look down, and backward to look up, so it's more natural to simulate this.

Inverted, always for me. In FPS or in Flight games like Crimson Skies.

It's Three-Dimensional thinking. Like flying an airplane. A pilot pulls up by pulling down the control stick. Pushing up, when descending to land.

Almost everyone I know uses inverted, I prefer normal though, feels like you are pushing the cursor in place. hehe I can go inverted and do ok but I tend to find myself looking all over the place because I start using it like it's normal when I stop using the stick for a bit.

When you go to the range and you fire off a few rounds, where do you POINT the gun? Let me help you out... You POINT the gun right where you AIM.

If you consider using a joystick more similiar to "aiming" than using a wiimote then who is the one who deserves pity here?!

you, for getting so worked up over it. and i wasnt comparing to real life. i was comparing to the feel to playing a video game. i FEEL like im pointing more than im aiming when i play my Wii. wheres on sticks i FEEL more like im aiming. calm down.

I used to play flight sims with joysticks and of course you have to pull back to climb and push forward to dive. WhenI finally figured out that mouse + keboard was the best way to play (quake was my first game to do this) it was only naturall to go inverted.

yes, like a pilot joystick. press forward to go downwards and pull up to go upwards.

you can get use to both, but inverted is the most logicall way.

Southpaw & Inverted is my preferred. If that's not available (somegames won't allow it for some stupid reason- like Bioshock and FEAR) then I use Default & Noninverted. And no I am not left-handed I just play better with southpaw on.

Inverting seems more natural to me I pull the muscles in my neck back to look up so it makes sense to me to pull back to look up. Anyway not sure anyone has mentioned this yet but in your user profile on the 360 you can set default settings in your profile so every FPS you put in will automatically be set to inverted.

I'm sorry that your lack of knowledge of the english language has left you forced to clarify the differences of two systems by using synonyms (I'll let you look that one up for yourself). The fact that you're trying to split the atom in order to find some advantage to using hardware from TWO GENERATIONS AGO is laughable.

Now see, the connection I make is essentially stick = neck. So when I want to look up, it makes more sense for me to tilt it back. When I look down, it makes more sense to tilt forward.

Please research the howitzer as well as laser guided missles.

Also, read the review of RE:4, Metroid Prime 3, and the available information on Medal of Honor Heroes 2...

Until then, enjoy your joystick...

Yes because I played a lot of flight simulators as a child.

Anyone trying to argue what is "better" or more "logical" is a complete idiot. Its just personal preference.
