Yeah. I've been trying to stop myself switching between Recettear and Fallout NV. They're both too awesome though.

Honestly, I don't finish most of the games I buy. I get different ones for different reasons, maybe it was an unexpected deal, maybe good reviews, maybe it's a sequel to a game I really liked, it tends to be the idea of the game more than the actual game itself. It could be my attention span. Take the Gran Turismo series, for example, I liked the first one, I got hyped up for it due to a trailer I saw on a PlayStation magazine CD's, played around with a lot of the cars in the arcade mode but that was the main extent to my playtime with GT. GT 2 comes along, I see all the new features - tracks, cars, off-road racing, it all looks good, what I played of GT I liked, I'm hyped up for it, they also improved the graphics which was nice, so I get GT 2 - and the cycle of playing it but not extensively happens again. A few short years later, hype about the PlayStation 2 and "Gran Turismo 2000" - I see a lot of previews, videos, gameplay footage, get hyped over the graphics, it gets delayed a while longer, but I'm still excited for GT 3 when it comes out so I get GT 3. A few more years go by, hype is building for GT 4 - especially over the idea of network capability and 1080i graphics. I get hyped up about GT4's other additions, end up getting GT 4 and it's the same thing. GT 5, it's still kinda the same thing - I want to get it because of every feature it has, the excellent graphics, NASCAR, online play, and will probably buy it soon after release, but I doubt I really spend extensive time with it. Like I said earlier, I gaming and new games, to me, tend to be either hype, good deals, sequels, the features that make them different, or just the ideas presented in the game itself.

I have a really bad habit of playing a lot of a game and then not finishing it even though I like it. Right now I have Splinter Cell Convicition, Mirror's Edge, Infamous, Darksiders, Batman Arkham Asylum, and Splosion Man in that position (these are all 8.0 - 9.0 games for me so far), and I have a bunch of games that I've started since dropping those. So I'm either going to go back and start putting a bow on some of those, or remain stuck in this spiral of non-commitment.

So yeah, I "play" a lot of games at a time, but sometimes I'm only playing one of them and in the process of abandoning the others.

that's true for me. the games that take most of my time are usually the "casual" games that really has no ending.

actually one's PS3 and the other one's PC, so unless there's a cross-platform game b/w the two, I can't.

Not exactly at the same time (like multitasking.... that would be weird) but I do play more than one game at once. Right now I'm playing Civ 5, NHL 11, and Reach. I usually only play one game per platform though.

I'm switching between the following currently.

MW2, Reach, Kirby EY, Bioshock 2, Bayonetta, MGS4, Madden 10, LBP....Add DJ Hero 2 to the list when I pick it up tomorrow.

Almost forgot about sc2 on the pc.

Really wanna pickup FO: NV, but I wouldn't be able to play anything else if I get hooked on that like I was hooked on FO3.

I change depending on my cash situation and the gamign situation. In spring and holiday time I usually get around 2-5 games at once and alternate betwen them, I sometimes have one game I tend to not like as much as the others though but its still enough for me to switch between the ones I really like every day and see the "other" game every once in a while until I beat it/get bored of it.

Of course if a brand new game just came out and I get it day one, its generally the only game I play for the next few months with an occasional foray into previous games for multiplayer. One case is Red Dead Redemption, I only bought that game in May and played it alongside BC2 MP. Uncharted 2 on the other hand, I stuck to that game only until I got MW2. The MP was fantastic enough and popular enough that its all I needed for the month of October.

I own it for both consoles as well. I havedifferentfriends that I play with on both consoles. I like it alot better on 360 though. Live is just a much better online experience. It seems Sony didn't work on anything to make people feel like they're in an actual online community. Don't get me wrong I think the PS3 is a great console as well. I like that you can use any bluetooth head set you want, and everything is built into it from the get go.

I'm the kind of person who like to get a new game once its released (that is if i want it) when thats the case oftentime i'll have game left unfinished. Like Dragon Age, bought it when it was priced at 40$ (at the time it was still for full price so..) and look, i never even started it because i had new games i bought the previous day...i always end up going back to them at one point or another. |:
