Do YOU play sport games? (PoLL)

A lot of people here have said that they despise sport games, and yet franchises like Madden and NBA have been selling pretty well. I'm just curious if you guys play sport games or not.

I for one, enjoy playing NHL and a few NBA games (Homecourt was a blast :D), and maybe Soccer as well.

i voted no. but i do really enjoy sports. its just that there hasn't been any good ones in a long long time.

ill take triple play 99,NBA JAM, or the original blitz over any of this stuff today.

yes i play sports games. I play nfl blitz on my n64 all the time. It is one of the best....THE BEST games ever made period.

Sports games are just a different genre and play styleto enjoy(and you don't have to worry about injuries). I buy Madden every year because starting on the release date thats where thebig ballers are, EA puts a lot of money into Madden, it changes more than you think.

No. I don't see a point to sport games. I play games to do stuff I wouldn'tdo in life because of some seriousrepercussions (stealing a car, joining the army - #1, you'll die or go to prison, #2, it's no fun in life).

If I want to play sports, I do it with arms and legs instead of a gamepad.

Nah. I don't want to spend $60 every year for the same old sport games with just a little bit of new features and slightly improved graphics. Elviathan

I don't play games like Madden, FIFA, NBA Live, etc.

But I enjoy SSX and Wii sports... but they aren't really the conventional sports games.

you get two/four people who are really good at NBA Street Vol 2 or 3 and that is just as much competition and tactics as Super Smash Bros. sheep may flame me for that but its the truth...

I love NBA 2K7 and the NCAA football games I also like the NHL, MLB, and Soccer games but I don't buy them every year I found everyother year is a good way to do it

Ya I love both NHL and Soccer ones in sports games. I love them they are awsome.
