Pretty straight forward. Which do you prefer and why?

Gotta go with the PC. Better visuals, better controls, better library, better online, user created content and the freedom to do almost anything, even if its hook the PC up to the TV with a controller and play from the couch.Danm_999
this, plus you're one button press away from minimizing the game and revealing boobies. a
lso you can play your music for every game, and it's generally quite a pleasant experience.
consoles are awesome though, and i use my consoles only slightly less then i game on my pc.
Some people prefer to give up any say in their experience for increased convenience, I'm not one of those people.
I like having control over my experience, which is only available on PC.
local multiplayer is huge to me. Most people on here look past it, which is very odd. DeathScape666that is a good point, while it can be done on pc, i never have and don't feel like doing as my friends have consoles, so we just play on consoles.
I have a 360 and a gaming PC and I prefer PC gaming. It's superior in almost every way possible. Console gaming is too frustrating with all those disc read errors, freezing, poor online play, controller doesnt work properly etc etc. I pop a game into my pc and it works maxed out, 1080p, 60 fps (except crysis). Can't say that about outdated consoles !
While PC games have the advantage of modding, I still prefer my consoles. Mostly because RPG's are my major genre, and PC RPG's are a rare breed on PC (good ones like BG2 and Torment, anyway). Plus, I can't stand pointing and clicking throughout an entire game.
consoles. better library, more convenient, more people i know play it, i don't want to wait 30-50minutes just to start playing a game, for me, it's better overall. i still like mmos and rts's which work better on pc, though.
I love both Console and PC gaming but I would say Console gaming because I don't have to worry about my system being out dated I already know my PC is out dated. Also PC doesn't get Nintendo games and Nintendo makes my favorite games.

30-50 minutes? Installing takes 5 minutes at most. Then you click and play.
Both. I started playing consoles in 1990/1991 and PC's in 1992 and have been playing both ever since.
Recently though, I've found that console gaming is becoming more and more like PC gaming. The "plug-n-play" experience that made consoles what they are just doesn't seem to exist anymore. Its all thanks to the Xbox and its harddrive/Xbox Live popularizing online play. Now this generation, online multiplayer is ruining same-room multiplayer and multiplayer in general is ruining single player. Its as if online never existed before consoles and now is a huge fad that everyone "has" to do in order to be successful. And singleplayer doesn't matter anymore... if you don't have a rebuffed MP mode in your game, its a massive flop.

Thats sad to me.. I don't play online games often enough. Personally I enjoy single player games much more.

Depends on the genre. RPG's still do just fine with single-player only. I prefer them that way, and they sell well. You don't hear people complaining that there isn't any multiplayer in the next RPG they plan to purchase.
EDIT: Except for when it comes to PC gaming. I was referring to consoles.

I don't really know why you brought up this unknown system (whatever it is you're referring to), but please, get back to the discussion about PC or consoles.
I like consoles more.. PC for me is only for doing University work, watching anime :P, browsing the internet and chatting with friends
I like PC gaming better personally because I like to have control of my experience. If a game has bad framerates, I can change that. If a game works awkwardly with a kb/m, I can simply connect a controller. And plus, I can play older games like Deus Ex with no sweat. Yes, its more expensive and requires a lot on knowlege on how to do things, but IMO, I think it's worth it. I personally get a superior experince with PC than I do with consoles. I understand that changes from person to person, and that some people think PCs aren't worth it. That's fine with me. I just like PC gaming a lot better.
This, however there are times where I just want to game without messing around with settings to get the best out of a game. Thats what my 360 is for. Having a PC and a 360/ps3 is the best combo. Some people prefer to give up any say in their experience for increased convenience, I'm not one of those people.

don't buy a ps3, updates for games and when games need installs it's a joke. a pc can download a full game at 5gb plus install it within 10 minutes, ps3 takes 10 minutes to download and install a 175mb update for cod:waw. 360 takes about 10 seconds for the same update, what sony they did wrong i don't know.

It doesn't take 30 minutes to install a game. Much less actually. Probably ten minutes at the most for a huge game.
But, that is made up for in the fact that the PC loads tons faster than consoles.
facebook.but yes thats what i was going to say  ..im a console legend i was playing atari, sega master system 2 nes, snes, sega genesis ,turbo grahpix 16 back in the days ,so yes cosoles for me...:)I like consoles more.. I have a pretty nice PC now so it's clsoer but I still gotta go with consoles. Crysis on high, Fallout 3 maxed Gears maxed all look nice but my PC is nowhere enar my TV or my couch. I get cramps and stuff using my keyboardd for too long and I cna't play GH or RB at my PC. If my PC moved downstairs that mgith change but for now it's consoles purely for the comfort
like most pc gamers I own a console as well just for the sake of it... however, pc all the way. building, configuring my pc, playing games, modding the games etc is a hobby for me. consoles are just too limited and there is nothing more "inconvenient" than the noise my xbox360 out puts...
I like pc better as a system. However most of my favourite games are console ones, and I won't have a worthwhile pc until the end of the year. I'll finally be upgrading from my old P4, Radeon X700 pro.
X700 Pro? :| that's even less powerful than the old 6800s.I like pc better as a system. However most of my favourite games are console ones, and I won't have a worthwhile pc until the end of the year. I'll finally be upgrading from my old P4, Radeon X700 pro.
