I'm trying to see if my theory is true or not. My theory is that whether you prefer single player or multiplayer is one of the biggest factors in whether you prefer PlayStation or Xbox with PlayStation fans preferring single player and Xbox fans preferring multiplayer.starwolf474Maybe at the start of the generation but that's changed ever since Live went down the gutter. I think it's much more balanced now.
I prefer single player strongly and I obviously support PS4. Will be buying games like Killzone, Destiny and maybe BF4 though.
I prefer single player with my PS3 and also did so back when I still owned a 360. There's only a handful of games that I loved playing online. Left 4 Dead primarily.
Multiplayer connections on both consoles are the same and always limited by local ISP.
The same people who believe that MS has some sort of special Internet that magically makes PTP games faster are mostly likely the same people who believe that the cloud will make X-BO games look better.
Having to pay to play multiplayer on 360 with no clear advantage or benefit makes it worst for me.
I vastly prefer singleplayer, and my first choice is my PC. If that isn't available then I'll go with a Playstation because I like Sony's practices on the whole a lot better then Microsofts. When a gaming OS becomes viable (and it won't be Valves imo) outside of Windows I will be jumping ship and never looking back.
