do you pre-order games anymore ?

i haven't pre-order a game since halo 2 , i used to pre-order them all the time

most likely because i just rent games instead of buying them , and buy one rarley - but any game big enough to pre-order always has plenty of copies the first day : like halo 2 all the stores were saying pre-oder now were running out , and then the first day it came out there were more than enough copies for everyone

I do because I know the one time I don't the game I want will be sold out for weeks.

I always pre-order any collectors edition of any game i buy.

I love how PC CE titles cost the same as regular editions of console titles.

i only rent games coz ive spent to much money on games in the past that i beat or dont like and never play again.

these devs gotta earn this ol boys money from now on;)

only game ive ever seen sold out was wii play and that was because nintendo held back wii motes so it could sell.

took me 2 months to get wii play lol

Only the halo series has gotten my pre order

I NEVER pre-order games its a joke :roll:

I go in to my local EB on launch day for Gears and ask for a copy of Gears Of War, and they tell me that the UPS truck or never made it so it got delayed until the following day, so I drive not even a mile down the road to my local best buy and they have it :roll:

And it seems that ANY game that I go in for on launch day, if there is any kind of a line, or they "happen" to have sold out ( not very likely ) then I go to best buy, and pick it up off the shelf and go to the checkout.

Pre-ordering games = gimmick and wasted of time money and effort. Its like doubling your actions for no reason. And I live in a area with ALOT of college kids that play video games too.
