never had a sigle problem ad played lots of great great games.
but i can imagine it sucks balls big time when you get three RROD... i would pass the nezxt time i think...
I sort of regret buying one (I'm a huge MGS fan and I don't know what I'm going to do when the game releases).
With that said, I just pre-ordered GTAIV Special Edition for the Xbox 360.
I don't regret it in the slightest really. I've had 2 red rings and of coure i was annoyed, who wouldn't be. However, if you can't occupy yourself with something else for a couple of weeks, then that says alot. For me i just played on my PS2, went out more etc. Plus i got a free game and 2 months live which put me about 1 month in the green.
I'd prefer 0 rrod of course, but it isn't the end of the world and microsoft did a decent job on the compensation in my case.
The main reason i don't regret it is because from 2005-2009 the 360 has by far a better game lineup for my tastes. I could have got a PS3, but i would have missed out on Gears, Halo, Bioshock, Saints Row, Graw 1, Forza, PGR 3 & 4, Crackdown, Mass Effect, etc, etc.
Perhaps the 360 has the weakest future, but for the years 2005-2009 it has been extremely strong and thoroughly worthwhile.
If the 360 brand died today i would have had my moneys worth many times over.
Join the club, I've got a failing console..noticed my left trigger has stopped working properly...
But, the games are great and it has Halo 3 :D

No you don't have a failing console, you've got a broken controller. And no I don't regret buying a 360, it has the best games this generation, best game sales, best multiplatform games, best controller, best online play.
IMO people who don't own a 360 are not even gamers.
I'm currently out with the RROD, I had it since launch so maybe i was lucky to get that much out of it.
My friend also has the RROD so we are both waiting for repairs.
The problem is the 360 has an incredible library of games (imo the best of the 3), best multi-plats, best controller, best online.
It's just a shame the 360 so unreliable, well so was ps1/2.
Due to its isssues of RROD and the shocking failure rate, do you regret buying an Xbox 360? I'm on my third 360 now after getting the RROD about 4 times and I'm starting to think if I made a mistake by getting one in the first place. What do you guys think?yousif102I've had my 360 since first launch, gone threw 4 and absolutely love my 4th as much as my first! I make great money, I guess I could own a PS3 but... nawwww really, the whole XBL experience has spoiled me as a gamer so anything less is just plain unacceptable!
never had rrod but my dvd drive has failed a few times.
still the best console i've ever owned though.
RROD and its loud, but I never regret buying it.gatorteenThat whole loud thing is old my friend, now, my PC, that's loud!
Not as much as I regretted getting my PS3 early....but then I haven't had my 360 fail on me yet either.Stonin
wow that thing must be collecting dust, unless you love movies. but then that kinda defeates the object of a games console...
ive never had a RROD either, its a WAY over exagerated problem. i don't know anyone who has had RROD and only one who has had any issues (disk read error) at all.

What do you mean? PS3 has games :|

Oh I guess the noise goes away after a year or so.
No but see the 360 games are fun and you really get into them, so you don't really hear it.its best suited for me the upscaled dvds are much better since i dont watch many movies and if i do they only cost me like £3
i just have loads of friends who also have them so thats a big bonus
i prefer the game lineup to PS3 mainly down to the fact that i just dont like MGS4, FF etc etc alothugh killzone2 is good
and the controller is awesome
the only thing FOR ME that is good about the PS3 is the reliability, killzone 2
